We had such a splendid time at Gold Mine Mini Gold today! The weather was perfect and the course had many areas to catch shade while we played in the sunshine. We played course 1 and 3, both were fun and challenging at the same time. They sell beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, so there something for everyone. The restrooms were very clean, staff friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was divine. They played 1940s-1950s crooner and oldies music, which made for the perfect wholesome environment for a family day out, but could easily double as a date night. The price was very affordable and set so that you can reasonably play a few games. We highly recommend and will be back read more

Beautiful night to play mini golf! They have 3 different options, we chose the one he said was the easiest, and I got 2 hole in one's! For being the easiest, they definitely do throw some challenges at you, so don't worry about flying through it! We stopped here for a spontaneous round of mini golf and to check it out since it was renovated. Since it's COVID time, the cashier wiped down the clubs and handed them to us which was nice. We picked the balls, but I don't know if they were wiped down beforehand. The course has been beautifully updated, though most of the holes are the same design and layout. There are still 3 courses that you can choose from but they're all gold-mine themed now. $3 a person still which is totally affordable and a great way to spend an afternoon with bored kiddos. My only complaint was that they were not enforcing masks by the entrance so we couldn't get around people who weren't following precautions. read more

Hitt's is a good value and located in central Colorado Springs. For ~$10 I was able to buy golf for two, including glow in the dark balls, and even two soft drinks (thanks to yelp for the One free round coupon). Overall the course is average and basic, but sometimes simplicity is important. There is nothing "special" to the course, but it is reminiscent of the days of Mom&Pop businesses, so there is some small-town charm to this location. Overall, Hitts provides a laid-back mini-golf experience at a cost that's very reasonable. read more

This was definitely a gold mine! Admittedly, we were skeptical as we drove up, thinking it looked a little rundown, but we were pleasantly surprised! Never judge a book by its cover, right? It was cheap for our family to play, easy to keep our social distancing preferences in place, and was a lot of fun. I love that we could choose from three different courses. My only (super-duper mild) complaint is the lighting. In some places, it was difficult to see in the dark. But that was minor. Overall, great place to get outside and have a little fun! read more

Quite a gem. Traveling on vacation with kids and we stopped in for a round, my son and I played the gold mine course and it was a blast. Gold Mine has three 18 hole courses all in immaculate shape with fun challenging holes. The absolute best part was the service. The attendant was super friendly and gave us recommendations on which course to play. I love the fact he let us know which courses had a couple big groups. The course he recommended was a lot of fun. This was one of the best mini golf places we have visited and we make it a point to visit a mini golf course every time we travel. read more

This was the most amazing experience. Jeff was absolutely amazing, we got 4 drinks two shots and 4 rounds of golf for 35$. Jeff went so far out of his way to make us comfortable and told us the best stories. He's like the uncle we all want to have. We were planning on going bowling but it was closed and next door was mini golf, there is absolutely no place i would have rather spent my time in colorado springs. For $2 per 18-hole course (three courses are available, and we did #2), there's not much to complain about. Friday afternoon was spent with the fiance's 8yo niece here and she had a great time. The lone staff member was very friendly, and behind him were plenty of snacks. Bathrooms were actually decent. Like the previous reviewer said, the parking lot is still a crumbly mess and the outside may look a bit menacing with iron bars over the windows. At this time of year most of the water traps were completely dried out, or in our case, disgusting puddles of nasty water filled with rotting leaves and food wrappers. It's what I'd expect for $2. Clientele was a mix of bored-looking teens looking for cheap entertainment, and three other families with little ones under age 10. read more

I enjoy family time at Hitt's! Obviously mini golf courses take a winter beating in Colorado, and this one is no exception. It could use some touch ups. But overall, for $2 per round I find it acceptable. But beware some patrons forget this is a family oriented place. The employees are always fairly friendly. Sodas and some snacks are available if you really need them. Parking lot is not in the best shape, and the surrounding businesses are nothing special. If you want to have a fun hour with your kids and can sacrifice some of the special things other courses have, Hitt's will take care of you at a discount to the newer courses. read more
