Cuticles were not pushed back and the gaps left between the gel and my cuticles are consistent with what you would see after 2 weeks of nail growth. As you will see by the photos, application thickness of the gel and shaping of my nails are also well below a high quality standard. Would not recommend based on work quality alone. read more

I had a terrible and incredibly unprofessional experience at this salon. First, they made me wait a very long time past my appointment. When they finally started my pedicure, the foot water was scorching hot.During the service, I asked if they could trim my cuticles. Because there was a clear language barrier, I politely asked the technician where he was from and what language he spoke so I could use Google Translate to communicate my needs better. Instead of responding professionally, he immediately got up, grabbed his tools, and stormed off.When the manager came over, instead of de-escalating the situation, they argued back and forth with me. The manager told me cuticle removal was already included (which I didn't know and was just trying to verify) and rudely told me to "let him do his job." To make matters worse, the other stylists began judging me and laughing at me while I was sitting there.I was only trying to communicate politely to ensure we were on the same page. Being mocked by the staff and dismissed by management is entirely unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a salon that respects its paying customers. read more

I've been coming here for pedicures the last couple of months and with schedule conflicts with my regular nail tech, I decided to pull the trigger and give them a try for my nails. Jenny was very nice an lad made sure to ask me how my nails were along the way and readily fixed anything I asked her too. I have very mixed emotions on this place. They are very overpriced for they're work and they take advantage of those who know nothing about nails. I've been before for very simple sets and haven't had any problems but this time. I had an appointment for 5 people set for 5:15 pm. We were about 5 minutes late but I called to let them know before hand that we were running a few minutes behind but still on the way and that it would only be 4 people instead. We got there and there was no one available to take us for our appointment, so we sat and waited for 30 minutes until the first person could be seen. We all got seen eventually over the course of an hour and a half. Only one person actually got what they wanted. One was an ombré full set that is no wear near ombré and looks like candy cane Another was a full set of acrylics with shaky lines on someone (with no info about nails) who sat down and immediately said I don't want fake nails just this design on her already long nails. And the other was fully painted nails on someone that wanted French tips but because she was rushing couldn't do a straight French tip. I tried to give some understanding because they all left one lady there to do the designs on the three nails that were messed up, which caused her to be there after close. But as a customer. The situation is beyond frustrating because I tried to give them ample time about us coming in. And this then led to the entire wedding party having messy nails. The physical space of the salon is nice and spacious. The service offered by the staff is good, not great but overall the prices are too high for the level of service offered. In my opinion the management of the salon is taking advantage of and overcharging customers because they are one of the only decent salons in the immediate area. I got a gel manicure and it was very mediocre. I didn't mind the job they did besides for being cut on my cuticles on multiple fingers. What made the experience annoying were little nats and mosquitoes all over the salon the entire appointment, I even heard other people talking about them. My appointment was at 6pm, and they close at 7 so I get it if the place is a little unorganized but it was filthy and unwelcoming. I left with OK nails, and mosquito bites all over my legs and ankles. Won't be going back here. read more

I stopped in as a walk in for a regular manicure and wow I was seated immediately at 12pm, for a weekday. I wish I had more time for the pedicure too since my manicure was excellent! I didn't catch the woman's name unfortunately but will make a point too on my next visit. I told her to file/shape my natural nails without cutting cuticles or nails and she took her time soaking my hands and pushing back the cuticle, and did a fine job. Then she applied a nice cuticle oil and hand washed my hands to prepare for the polish. I will say she had the most steady hand while painting no color on my skin or missed edges! Smooth glasslike shine is what I got and could t be happier! Cost for manicure was $12 with a 20% off so $10bucks! Very satisfied read more

I arrived at the salon at 3pm and I was told there would be a 30 min wait, so I waited. My visit consisted of a regular polish change on my toes and a shellac polish change on my hands. 20 mins after waiting, the older gentleman started to work on my nails. He was VERY irritated that I would not allow him drill on my natural nails. To break the top coat of the shellac is one thing but to DRILL on natural nails is not healthy, it's lazy and thins the nails. So he soaked my nails, for an hour and a half and took clients that came in after me(without appointments). After 2 hours of waiting I asked him who was going to do my nails. He finally stated that he would. He did a fuckin half ass job( thin coats, didn't painy the side of the nails, didn't file the nails evenly, broke two of MY nails then asked what do you want me to do?) he also grew upside when I asked if he could file or paint the missing spots. I had been traveling for 47 days so I didn't want to spend time in the nail salon which is why I asked for what should have been an hour service. I've been here 3 times and I will not return. This man was aggressive and rude and he didn't act like this when others had requests. I have never had a bad experience at the nail salon. So I will never return to this place, I won't beg anyone to help me spend my money. Oh, 2 days after my service all of my nails cracked from being too thin, right before my international birthday trip. Fuck this place. read more

Poor Service Today was the last straw. I went to get my nails filled, had a appointment with Vee and as usual she started at least 15 minutes LATE on my nails. Not only is she usually late, but during my service, she is constantly up and down helping other customers and nail techs. She doesn't even excuse herself, she just jumps up and leaves me sitting there. Well today I had ENOUGH! I explained to her that when I come get my nails done, I expect for her to work on MY nails, not keep jumping up and down which results in me being there much longer. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a relaxing, pleasant experience, but everytime I leave that salon, I am frustrated. MONTHS of this. I put up with it for this long becaue Vee is nice and I liked the way she did my nails, but I couldn't take it anymore. When I expressed my concern in a professional manner, her husband was beside himself I guess that I would say something. He said she is the owner/manager and have to help all customers. I told him I understand that may be the case, but I AM THE CUSTOMER and it is not fair to me. I guess as customers we are supposed to just be happy they are doing our nails. Don't say anything while we sit there waiting because they have overbooked and accepted every walk-in. NO, NOT SO!! I politely made her aware that after she finished shaping my nails she could stop and I was going to leave. I said I am happy to pay you for what you have done, but she refused payment. read more

They were extremely gentle and understanding of her conditions. This meant much to the both of us. I will most definitely bring her back again. To keep it short and sweet I've been getting my nails done for over six months here at Montage Nails and this was the worst experience today since I've been going. A week and a half ago I got a French manicure with gel nails and two days after they were done they turn yellow. When I went back to get it fixed they told me that maybe it was chemicals at my job that turn the nails yellow and I explain to them that I work on a computer all day and I don't deal with chemicals. The older lady and her husband were nice and willing to fix it but the young man that does the nails in the front desk booth was so rude ! He came over standing over me saying they weren't going to fix my nails again and again. Then began to speak in his language loudly and tried to tell me he was going to charge me to repaint my nails. I told them I've been coming here too long to be spoken to in that manner . Their customer service is horrible to say the least. This is definitely my last time coming to this place! He made me feel as though my business was not valued as he told me maybe next time I should go somewhere else to get my nails done! This is the worst experience I've ever had at any nail shop. I asked to have a toenail shaped and repolished with acrylic...an amateur nail tech unsuccessfully shaped the toe. I was left with a big bubble-esk toe nail that looked three times larger than my other toe. The manager was contacted and I requested for it to be fixed. The manager "pretended" that there was nothing wrong with the shape of the huge acrylic nail. Nothing was done for the nail to be fixed. Now I have to go to a different salon :( read more
