I had the Italian and it was spot on. Fresh bread, great flavor, and the perfect mix of meat, cheese, and dressing. Everything tastes like it was made that morning. This place stays busy at lunch, which tells you everything you need to know. Stopped in for lunch today and had the "Miles City" sub. You have a choice of "half" or "full" size. It was amazing how big the half size is! It had a generous amount of tasty meat. The roll was excellent with a nice texture and everything was fresh. Best sub I've ever had! Good customer service and prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality. read more

Pretty darn good - this is worth a stop if you want a sandwich that isn't from a chain (Jimmy Johns, etc). If you're from Bozeman (MT), the subs here are quite close to a Pickle Barrel sandwich. My sandwich was really good - the star of the show was the fresh bread (YUM). My only gripe was the wait time - I stood there waiting for one sandwich for 20+ minutes. Disgusting both subs tasted like they had been burnt then left on the stove for days. Like if you scrape all the burnt chili from the bottom of the pot and mix it in. Lots of meat on the sandwich - which I appreciated. Flavor OK. Bread unremarkable. They forgot my pickles. Also asked for oil and vinegar but it must have been applied very sparingly - couldn't really taste it. UNBELIEVABLE. BREAD-BREAD-BREAD! It's always about the bread!! And of course, the way the cold cuts are put together...and let me tell you, this was a great find! I ordered a pseudo version of their Italian sub, the "whole"...and let me say that I could only eat the half...lol....and I still almost drove us off the road from the carb/calorie overload!! This is the type of sub that you need to eat on your couch, where you can safely doze off into a very happy oblivion....! IT's that good. Other items worth noting....I LOVE the heavy butcher paper they wrap it up in....perfect for eating on the road without worrying about dripping through the otherwise, inferior sandwich paper. We ordered the Jordan (tuna) and the two dot (turkey and roast beef). The whole wheat bread tastes a little like cardboard, but the tuna tastes fresh. The sandwiches are dry. Interior is drab and depressing. read more

A Great Falls staple, I have been frequenting this place for many years. It has changed owners but you'd never tell from the quality of the food. The service is always friendly and fast, and they take call-in orders as well as pick-up or dine-in. A different sandwich is on special each day and they often have soup as well. My go to is the Bozeman on white, with all of the fixings (lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, and pepperoncinis) plus oil and vinegar. You get your choice of mayo or miracle whip, and yellow or brown mustard as well. As you'll see in other reviews, the bread and fresh ingredients is what makes these so great. Absolutely huge sandwiches. We were shown the half and whole sizes but somehow we were still dumb and chose the whole thinking it was just half of a whole. Every single one of our sandwiches was packed to the brim with meat and veggies and I ate mine for breakfast AND lunch the next day and it was still good. Fast and friendly service, food came out within 5 minutes and the place was spacious with plenty of seating for everyone. UPDATE: 18 feb 2021 Customer service aside, and only judging only their food my rating stays the same. My husband and I went in for a quick bite after our baby appointment and I honestly can't see why the reviews are so good here. Yes they make their own bread, but it's not great. We ordered the Kalispell and replaced the cheese with Swiss. We were able to split a whole just fine as it is 16 inches long. The ratio of meat to other ingredients was WAY off (Unless you love an entire pound of Turkey on your sandwich of course). I've been to many sandwich shops and I'd rather hit up jimmy johns than come here again. 17 feb 2021 If there is one thing I hate, it's a rude person who works in customer service. I honestly don't understand how folks on here are giving 5 stars And mentioning good customer service.. although there hasn't been a review for 10 months. I just called at 4:30pm to simply ask if they still close at 5:30pm so I wouldn't be that person who comes in late like an ass, and I got a total of three words from the rude lady on the phone. Her: *in an extremely monotone voice "Montana sub" Me: "Hi! I ordered the Loma sandwich that has turkey and bacon with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. Instead of the standard cheese, I opted to have the pepper-jack. The bread is house made and very good. Luckily I ordered the half sandwich because it was a very large portion. I loved the flavor of the sub, all of the ingredients showed through and not one overpowered the other. Wow! This place!!! Out of nowhere, I'm in love with this place. The customer service is awesome...always willing to talk you through the options of your order, never hurried. And the food is so fresh! The bread is soft, the toppings are fresh, the bottled lemonade is one of my favorites! There's a bunch to brag about, but here's one example of the extra mile. Let's say you order tuna (known as a Jordan here). Most places will glop on pre-made tuna that has that awful pooling of liquid (clear evidence of aged product...and no, mixing it doesn't make it fresh)...but not here...they won't even make the tuna here until you order it. If you've ever wanted to taste the difference freshness makes, here's your chance. On top of all that, they don't charge you any more, they just do it because it's the right thing to do. Great local options! Went here on the recommendation of a friend and I'm so glad I did. The sandwich was huge and well priced. Had tons of flavor and great whole wheat bread! The people were nice and it was quick. My significant other and I ordered a large to split and it was enough to make two meals. This place is so disappointing. I was excited to try it but I'll never come back. The customer service is the laziest and worst I've seen in a long time. If you hate your job that much why even bother showing up? Taking an order isn't hard, at least try to greet your customer and not make them feel as if they're making your day a living hell. The sandwich itself is insanely overpriced and I feel like the only reason why it is is because they insist on putting 1/2 pound of meat on their 8inch "half." I can't imagine a whole being that enjoyable either. The ratio between veggies and meat is largely one sided and does not make for an enjoyable sandwich. Additionally, all the tables had crumbs on them and didn't look like they've been wiped down in hours, so in conclusion, this is an easy pass from me going forward. read more
