We have seen this place on Yelp several times over the years when we visited and haven't had the chance to stop by until last night and I am so glad we did!! The linguine was A*M*A*Z*I*N*G!! Buttery, creamy, delicious...edamame, spinach, chickpeas and chicken. Never had linguine served like this and it is the best one I've ever had. The ribs and fried grits are a MUST TRY! The savory glaze, that gritty crunch and the fall of the bone ribs are tasty! The Montanan cocktail was an added treat, it was a perfect blend along with the carrot cake we ended our night with! Service is impeccable! The gal who managed the dining area was quick to bring waters, take our order, deliver our orders fresh. And did so while the dining area was fairly full! The vibe in this place is fun and seemed like a popular spot amongst the locals. It is kept clean and well maintained. The patio area is spacious and dog-friendly. There is a bar area but we haven't made our way into that area yet. But we definitely plan to visit again and try other menu items! I ends up eating here twice during a recent visit. The staff was very friendly offering suggestions on what I should order. They've got a diverse cocktail list that are all served in mason jars. Half of the restaurant is table service and th other half you walk up and order at they bar so just depends on the vibe you are looking for. The ribs I got the first night were fall off the bone (although not really the healthiest). The second night I came back on a Thursday and it was trivia night. The place was packed. In Texas this would be a 2.5 star place. Fried chicken strips, overcooked, dry, flavorless, and burnt. The image was after they remade it. Burger... beef patty was DRY DRY DRY. Couldn't eat it. Fries were ok. Cooked good, but flavorless. Server stopped once to take food order, asked for a couple more minutes to decide on drinks, she came back 20 minutes later. Then never came back again. Fun vibe, this place is huge with outdoor seating. Infused drinks were fun, I got the mango one and tried a couple individual tacos, which were just okay. Everyone else in the group got mostly burgers, which also looked decent. We had a big group, but we did have to go up to the bar to order both drinks and food, I'm not sure if that is always the case or because of our group size. Food did come out pretty quickly after though. There's a secret speakeasy if you explore enough to find it. read more

Parking isn't clearly marked. You have to get your own water. Two things I noticed right upon finding our table on the patio. The service was excellent! We met some friends here for brunch because of the dog friendly patio. The quart sized Bloody Caesars are delicious and the bottomless Mimosas are such that you can change up the juices used, both very tasty! Wife got the breakfast burrito. It was delicious, but I would have liked more of a wet burrito, and this would could benefit from a red sauce and extra moisture. The Avacado cream is delicious, would order again. I ordered the chicken fried steak. This dish is very popular in this area, but this is the best interpretation I have had, possibly ever. It is breaded, fried to a medium rare, and topped with this divine gravy. Will definitely order again! This is a fun place and we will definitely be back. read more

Went for drinks with some fellow service industry friends fairly late on a Tuesday night. Showed up a few minutes before dining room closed, planning on just ordering drinks. Russel was behind the bar and was super friendly and attentive; he made great conversation with the other guests and was extremely welcoming to me as a one-top walk-in so late into the evening. Had a hard yerba mate for my drink and it was excellent. He also whipped up a special spicy tequila cocktail for a guest in front of me who was very particular and she ended up super satisfied! My friends and I went to check out the recent renovations () for some quiet cocktails and ended up having the best time. Ambience felt super open and welcoming, the physical building has a lot more character than I expected. Service was excellent, drinks were on-point, my friends' mini charcuterie board was devoured in seconds and looked magnificent. Russel even asked me 2 minutes before kitchen close if I'd like to put in food to which I politely declined. Every staff member I interacted with was clean, well-dressed, and having a blast. Cannot wait to come back and spend money on the food. If it is a quarter as good as the drinks I will likely become a fixture here. Nice job team Magpie!!! My only somewhat constructive note is that the music for the new space seemed a bit out of place. The outdoor patio here is great. There is ample space for big groups, which was great for our casual family gathering. The indoor space, on the other hand, was really dark and not very inviting. I think it's important to state that this place is definitely a bar that serves some food, and not a restaurant. The food menu is very small. The tacos are delicious, but there is only one type and it took forever to get our food orders. It would be nice if they had a few more app type items on the menu. There is also no table service and it took us about 20 minutes of waiting in line just to put in our drink orders. Great place if you are wanting some drinks in the sun! read more

Everyone was very nice, the food was DELISH, and we left very satisfied. We had the brussel sprouts, chicken caesar salad tacos and the pork barbacoa tacos and it was all very good. Been here a couple times and wanted to leave a review after getting brunch! Had to double check that they still have bottomless mimosas since they change their menu pretty often and they did! They pour HEAVY and give you big mimosas so you definitely get your moneys worth. I wanted to try the chicken fried chicken upon reading a review raving about it. My friends and I all got it and it was amazinggg. The ambiance is really nice and the most aesthetic place in Great Falls. Service was quick too. I highly recommend trying anything they serve here and please disregard the negative comments thrown out by another individual because if you read through that person's other reviews you'd notice they give most places in Great Falls a bad review and our experience and service was excellent so please give this place a try if you haven't. I'm being generous with the review with a 3. The food was very good. I got the Triple H. Delicious! Had to order and pay at the bar. Hostage situation commenced! 50 minutes into the wait we asked about the status. 5 more minutes later 3 of the 5 entrees appeared. The 4th appeared10 minutes after That. The final entree was another 15 minutes later. As good as the food was, it was ruined by the frustration of the unreasonable wait. The management needs to figure this out. I would give the spiral fried pickle a 2 star, very hard to eat and breading doesn't stay on very well. Definitely would have rather spears!
