There aren't enough words to express how grateful I am to Chris for his patience, time, and understanding with helping me in getting my first ever tattoo. Let me start by saying I am TERRIFIED and I mean DEATHLY TERRIFIED of needles. I have always wanted to get a tattoo but my fear always stopped me. I was recommended to go to Chris through a mutual friend who swore if anybody could get me over my fear, it would be him. I made the first call and was straightforward about my fear, but also about the tattoo I wanted. Chris was nothing but sweet, understanding and ready to undertake the challenge I would be. We talked for what felt like hours and by the end I felt so comfortable and confident I could go through with it. We set up a date and it was game on Now here is where Chris's professionalism deserved 10+ stars. I cancelled...... 3 times all last minute. I panicked. I couldn't go through with it. The idea of a needle touching me was sending me into a full blown panic attack. I apologized over and over again to the point I was in tears because I felt so bad. Chris could have refused to re book me. He could have turned me away for being a flake. He could have charged me cancellation fees. But instead, he just kept telling me it was ok. He kept rebooking me, he even would check in the day before and the day of to see how I was feeling. Every cancellation, he just told me it was ok. That he understood and that he was there and ready for me the day I walked through his doors. It took a month. It took a month of panic attacks, last minute cancellations, oceans of tears, and a saint of a human being who I now consider a wonderful friend before I finally walked in through his doors and out with a tattoo that I've always wanted and a experience I will always treasure, as it was the day I got over my fear of needles and accomplished something in 31 years of life I was never able to do. Thank you Chris for being the most patient, understanding, funniest distraction and overall amazing professional who cared more about making sure my experience stayed positive from beginning to end no matter the roadblocks. Chris started my second sleeve based on Viking symbols and knot work. I'm born in Norway, making a connection with my Viking roots. I've given him artistic license and he's done awesome work. He has a great understanding of Viking symbols, some of Celtic origins and knows how to do it correctly. I've received so many compliments.
