I had a great experience getting inked by Naty! It started with a concept and a couple of reference images, and she took it from there, creating this custom design for my partner and I. She shared her thinking with us as she showed us the design, and it was cool to see all of the other reference images she pulled to come up with the design. Naty invited feedback, and patiently repositioned the stencil for both of us in order to get it just right. I felt like she gave us exactly what we asked for. Natalia's space was clean, the background music was chill, she clearly cared about sanitization, and she seemed to work at a good pace. She also cut a large piece of second skin to keep the fresh tattoo safe. Really, I've got nothing but good things to say about my experience, and I can't wait for my next one!
I get Henna (I use jagua) done mostly when I'm going on vacation. I say that to say because I'm often in and out of pools and the beach and also constantly washing my hands my henna (jagua) in *this* instance may not last as long as normal. On average Henna/ jagua can last 2-3 weeks with proper care. I've been to HennaByNaty before and the experience has always been a 10/10. I always enjoy the vibe and energy. I prefer to show examples of what I like and let the artist do their thing based on that. I usually get a design on both hands (including fingers) up to wrist and this time I decided that on vacation I didn't want to wear any necklaces and thus I would get a neck piece. I loved it and now if I don't plan to wear a necklace on vacation (I usually prefer on vacation just big earrings rings and brackets) the henna/jagua neckpiece will become a staple of my vacation ensemble. Naty did such an amazing job, and I was grateful for the opportunity to meet her and know that I now had someone I could trust to go to for amazing henna. Fast forward to 2022, and I had my opportunity to attend my first Indian wedding, complete with my Lehenga outfit and all! Naturally, I wanted to dive into this long awaited experience with everything I had, so contacting Naty for a henna appointment was a no-brainer! Much like the first time (actually, even better than the first time), Naty completely knocked it out of the park! My henna stain developed SO BEAUTIFULLY thanks to her diligent work, as well as her tips and tricks for aftercare. I received SO MANY compliments on my henna! I can't wait to get more work done by Naty. Her work is truly AMAZING.
Naty is amazing! I would absolutely 100% recommend her! She did my bridal Henna - full hands and feet. In addition, the next day she did Henna for our wedding guests during our Sangeet (Memorial Day weekend 2022). Everyone at our Sangeet loved her work! She was extremely professional, detail oriented. She got to know what I wanted in advance - so it made everything on the day of our events go smoothly. When we met her in person, we immediately connected - her energy and spirit is just magical. She was so caring during all 6hrs of my Henna - always making sure I was comfortable. The quality of the Henna lasted over 3 weeks and was extremely dark! She is truly a talented artist and a truly phenomenal person. I'm blessed that I and our family and friends got to experience her truly special and beautiful art. In March of 2020, my boyfriend became my fiancé when he proposed to me. After I came down from the unexpected surprise of our engagement I began envisioning my look for my wedding day in 2022. (We extended our engagement due to the pandemic.) Henna was always on top of the list. For formal events, I would rock a simple DIY henna design, but I really wanted to go all out. Now it was just a matter of figuring out who would help me... Hence the beginning of my search! I looked at artists around my area and soon discovered Naty's page! After checking out her website and Instagram page I was dead set on hiring her! One of the things I liked is that she offered a hengua option. A mixture of henna with jagua... something I didn't realize could be a thing! Via her Instagram page, she has a story highlight section called "STAINS!" There you can see the life span of the henna, hengua, and jagua designs based off of how well it's taken care of. This was a crucial reason why I wanted to hire her. Hoping she would be available a few days out from my wedding day she was already scheduled for another engagement. She offered to have someone else on her team do the design on that requested date, but I really wanted to work with her. After discussing this the closest date I could get was seven days before my wedding. When she came to my house to do my hengua it was like having an old friend over! Her energy was amazing and the process was just so cool to watch! She's so talented!!! From the three options, hengua seemed it would hold out best for me. I also did some further research for aftercare once the paste was removed from my hands. I purchased rubber gloves and that cast arm cover thing one uses while showering so the stain could last as long as possible. I was super diligent the first five days making sure I was very minimal with how much water I put on my hands. And after being super careful I'm happy to report my hengua design lasted up to my wedding day! There was slight fading on the tips of my index fingers, but that was because those were the fingers I relied on heavily when I had to type. I cannot tell you how many people in Middletown, CT was impressed with the design. Many thought I was wearing gloves and couldn't believe this was something that was done by hand because it just looked so perfect! There's an event I have coming up in April and I will be reaching out to Naty again to see if she's available! You seriously won't regret working with her!!
I wanted to do something special for my 40th birthday and I decided to get henna to celebrate. I've seen Naty's work before and her ishhhh was fire and she was the one I wanted to go to. Now Naty is an amazing human for this. I am the WORST with directions. I get lost in my hometown. So of course even when I thought I triple checked it... I ended up in the wrong place in the middle of rush hour on a Monday. I freaked out when I realized I was in the completely wrong area. I rushed in an Uber to get there faster but I was terribly late. BUT Naty was super gracious with her time and she hooked a sis up! I could only imagine what she could have done in the full time that we had. Naty killed this and I'm definitely coming back but this time I'll be there on time. Naty has an amazing aura and energy. She is someone you want to check out if you're looking for a henna artist or artist in general.

This is my second year in a row treating myself to a Henna adornment by Naty for my birthday. Her Henna tattoo(s) style stands out because she brings a modern twist to an age old tradition. With proper care (this part is on you) I've gotten the stain to stay dark and strong going on 2 weeks now. Ive had traditional henna in the past that didn't really show up on my skin (I'm a chocolate girl) and I was not willing to expose myself to the toxins associated with black henna. So I was really excited about jagua and Naty did NOT disappoint. JUST GO AHEAD AND BOOK HER. Pros - traveled to me (100% mask adherence) - punctual for our appt time - BETTER than what I asked for... pre-ci-sion - worked quickly - great energy/vibe and very knowledgeable Cons - now I have to go to her before every vacation lol I did it on my hip/thigh and 2 weeks later its still there. Was absolute a lovely time, felt very welcoming and comfortable, calm and very professional. My design she came up with on the spot and was beautiful !! She even does Reiki sessions as well which I definitely did and was totally worth it!! Felt so center after I left and had my hand wonderfully draped in henna that she hand makes herself, smells amazing! I love the feel of the cold henna ink on my hand was very meditating !! For so long I've wanted a henna tattoo! All the beauty of a regular tattoo without the permanence or pain! Natalia exceeded my expectations completely. Super friendly and talented and quick. She's very thorough and thoughtful in her instructions for care, too. Instead of Henna, I decided to get Jagua for a blackish stain. I sent some inspiration pics and she created something better. Naty was so helpful and professional throughout the entire process. I had a ton of initial questions and was confused and she quelled my confusion and answered everything thoroughly and promptly. I wanted to try henna and I came across Naty's Instagram! Best decision ever. I thought it was dope that she did her work in a cafe. Naty is so kind and accommodating. I had some difficulties making it to my appointment on time but she still took me in and made such a beautiful and detailed design in our limited time. Six hours after getting the henna done I washed off the gel and had a very faint design showing but when I woke up the next morning it was a beautiful black detailed design that showed clearly on my skin. After just one night, not even 24 hours this picture attached is how it came out and I can already see it will be getting darker in 48 hours or less from now. Naty is a talented artist. Four of us got back-to-back mehndi appointments with Naty before a family wedding. We all had very different styles and requests, some with inspiration photos and some with just a few key words, and Naty created beautiful and unique designs for each of us. She was sweet and accommodating, and made the appointments feel fun and relaxed, but at the same time very efficient and works quickly. I loved working with Naty. Amazing skills. I specifically sort her out, there were people doing henna but her style good out to me. I like that she can do traditional style henna and add her twist to it. The lines and geometric patterns. Lived her energy and professionalism. read more
