Being in the hospital can be stressful, but the people here truly made me feel supported. A special thank you to a volunteer named Ren who left me this beautiful card. It brought a smile to my face and really brightened my day. Small acts of kindness like this make a big difference. I'm very grateful for everyone here. Thank you for taking such good care of m

I came to the emergency room in a full pheochromocytoma attack. This is the kind of medical…read morefacility that will tell you, you're having anxiety and its something serious and loved ones end up passing due to this type of dereliction. I'm a 36 yo adult. I am fully aware of anxiety/ panic attacks and this wasn't it. I had severe chest pains, high blood pressure, severe headache, sweating and started vomiting so finally decided it was time to go once I started vomiting. Mind you I was about 6-7 weeks post op a total hysterectomy. I went with no bra because the chest pain was so intense and my abdomen was still so sore from surgery. The man who did my ekg asked if I'm comfortable just walking around with no bra ... I was pretty shocked it being the ER but told him yes I can care less because my situation. I barley could walk due to the dizziness and vision problems I was having aside from everything else. But no biggie I brushed it off. Then the man who did my IV tells me, can you walk?! As I was in a wheelchair. I was like no dude I'm so dizzy and sore from my surgery. Made me feel like such an inconvenience and very embarrassed. Long story short they chummed it up to be chest pain and anxiety. I never even mentioned it had anxiety so that was weird. I expressed how bad my heart and chest was feeling and the ER doctor basically said I needed to follow up with an endocrinologist and there was nothing they could do aside from the meds they gave me. I was in complete disbelief. Went home feeling horrible but followed up with my primary and now I am seeing an endocrinologist who is sending me to Loma Linda hospital. You really have to advocate for yourself. It's so sad how they make you feel and brush off your symptoms. Especially when you're at your absolute worst. Even on my forms you can tell they tread lightly labeling it chest pain but still slightly mentioned my pheochromocytoma. Also, would have been nice for them to mention I had kidney stones but the emergency room doesn't feel that is a serious issue so I am aware they wont mention the findings, but its listed as some of the most painful heath issues. The wait was fine. Expected from an ER. If I end up here again I truly pray they do better and hope people get the care and compassion they need. I left two stars because my visit was in March. Today I visited the main hospital to retrieve my scans on a disk to give to the endocrinologist for the tumor and the gentleman who was volunteering in a wheelchair was amazing helping me navigate the hospital. The woman in medical records was also so very sweet and kind.

I hear it was better for her and I wish her well wherever she is! I came in for like a preliminary appointment as it's been a while since I've been in. So this is visit one of two. I had to fill out all the documents. Patricia at the front counter was really nice, I believe that's her name. The other lady at front was nice too. Next I saw Shannon who drew my 8 tubes of blood and gave me my tetanus and first of 2 shingles shots. She was sweet and very informative. She also took my vitals and weight. After she was done, I didn't wait too long and my Dr Doan came in to check up on me. He is a great and thorough, but quick doctor! I really like this guy! Who doesn't love a happy doctor? When all was done I got back to the receptionist desk to set up my two appointments, the first a follow up in two weeks and the second appointment is the second shingles shot. I gotta make sure I get that second one within 3 to 6 months because I don't wanna have to restart. Altogether this was a great visit. I love that my doctor is less than a quarter of a mile from my house. How often does that happen? Going to the doctor isn't so bad after all especially when you have a great staff like they do here!

Recently, I brought her in for her knee and labs. All her issues were addressed with efficiency. The P.A was also very courteous and helpful. They all really seem to genuinely care in helping people.
