My son, having failed to maintain healthy dental habits, managed to decay the majority of his teeth with neglect and an obscene amount of sugar. He clearly needed work done, and was in a lot of pain. However my husband and I are not people of means, so we needed a dentist who would be willing to work with us on a budget, while also being able to provide an aesthetically pleasing service; and Dr. Moussa was very accommodating in every aspect! In addition to the specific service provided; we found the care and professionalism of the staff to be exemplary and extremely pleasant. Dr. Moussa made himself available several times within the course of a day, and his office staff was more than efficient in keeping up with appointments and any necessary changes. In addition, my son commented that he was magical with the Anastasia; which is saying a lot because he his overly sensitive!!! My only criticism of the whole experience stems from the fact that he had to use an outside service in creating a permanent denture piece which took longer than was originally communicated. But I can hardly hold that against his office directly. I have also begun seeing him for my own regular dental care, being that he is closer to me than my former dentist, and much more affordable! I left a review on Google for Montclair Dental Spa in January 2024. In February Dr Moussa & Dr Blum came up with a plan for reconstructive surgery. Dr Blum, assisted by Tyrell, has done my surgeries since then. the amount of work that was done so far has been massive. They started with removing my remaining bad teeth and failing implants from 30 years ago. We needed to grow bone on top until August. On 2/27 Dr Blum and Tyrell put implants in the bottom. On 8/27/24 I had the implants placed on the top. So right now, 8/30/24 I have implants top & bottom with temp bridges while I heal. These temps are gorgeous and they're not even the final teeth!! Everyone at MDS has become my extended family . I have already recommended them to so many people. I trust these ppl 100%. I love every single person who works there. If u need any kind of dental work I totally recommend these angels. They are top notch in their field. They are honest and talented and AMAZING!! For those of you who know me, you already know how much I love what they have done for me. They have changed my life for the better and we will be life long friends as well. Part II: Bone Graft; December 15, 2017 I decided to get my dental implant from Montclair Dental Spa. However, I had to receive a bone graft first due to bone loss. I'm very thankful Montclair Dental Spa provides dental sedation. The sedation and the procedure went very smoothly. As usual, Dr. Moussa and Mimi were warm and gentle with me. They always asked how I was feeling and made sure I was comfortable. They put me at ease and the sedation helped a lot too! Ha-ha! It's now May 2018 and the gum area where the implant will be going is ready to go. I didn't experience any pain and / or infection throughout the healing process. Highly recommend Montclair Dental Spa for dental emergencies! My son's temporary crown fell off and he was in pain. His regular dentist was out of the country. On a holiday weekend, where every dentist office was closed, Dr. Moussa at Montclair Dental Spa was open. Dr. Moussa had us come right in and he was able to put the temporary crown back on.
