I needed to get a propane tank set and filled at my cabin in Fort Garland. I had been putting the task off because I assumed it would be a pain (like everything has been with this reno & build due to tough terrain). I reached out to the coop on a Thursday and was able to get my account set up and get on the schedule for tank placement and filled up within 7 days. The staff was very helpful and super friendly. They walked me through each step and explained the process and the costs so there were no surprises. The day of placement, there was great communication and they let me know when they were loaded up and heading to my site. They got the tank placed and a fuel tank followed to get me filled up. We tried to send some packages using the COOP UPS desk at this store. Working with UPS we find that items were stolen from our package. It appears that there is a SCAM between the MonteVista COOP and the Alamosa UPS store. BEWARE - Do not send packages through UPS at this store. read more

I wouldn't even give them one star if I had the opportunity. None of their staff was wearing masks or gloves. They had the attitude that they didn't care at all. And their bathrooms were dirty. I probably won't go back. read more
