As parents, my wife and I feel truly grateful for the experience our daughter had at this school…read moreover the past five years, from Nido to Casa 5. It has been such a meaningful journey for our family. We've watched our daughter grow step by step -- becoming more confident, emotionally aware, and socially comfortable in ways we will always appreciate. The teachers have been incredibly supportive and kind throughout. They've taken the time to really understand her, guiding her with patience and care while also encouraging independence and curiosity. We've always felt welcome and well-informed as parents, and communication has been clear and reassuring. Over the years, our daughter has taken part in recitals, science fairs, and different performances, each one helping build confidence and creating joyful memories. It's been beautiful to see her enjoy learning and express herself so freely. We are also very thankful for the approach, which has created such a calm, respectful, and child-focused environment. It has allowed our daughter to learn at her own pace and develop a genuine love for learning, rather than just focusing on results. Most of all, we want to sincerely thank Ms. Rushani for her outstanding leadership as Director. Her experience, knowledge, and understanding are clearly reflected in every part of the school. She leads with care and intention, and it has made a real difference in our daughter's early education. We are leaving with full hearts and deep appreciation for everything this school has given our daughter and our family.

As he grew older and able to communicate more with gestures, he would direct me away from the school when I was driving to drop him off. He would have severe meltdowns at drop off every morning. Initially, I thought it was separation anxiety and continued to encourage him to go to the school. After the director and teacher complained that he was too advanced for the two-year-old class at two years old they placed him in the three-year-old class. (I've since learned this is a common thing in this type of school) They then began to complain that he was not meeting the expectations developmentally. We were told he was choosing to go to the bathroom " outside of the scheduled bathroom time" which is insane considering he is two years old and potty trained. He should be able to go to the bathroom whenever he feels like he needs to. We were being told that we didn't " discipline" him enough at home, given there were two of us (which also wasn't true because my son's father was deployed at this time). We hired a behavioral therapist company to work with him in the program, which is when we discovered that the teachers and director at the school were treating my son horribly. Multiple staff members from our behavioral agency noted that they were making disrespectful and rude comments to the children. Asking the therapists if they can make my child "shut up" & Placing inappropriate expectations on them that were outside of their developmental appropriate age. The director herself lied directly to our face saying the teachers were using resources that we provided to support them, such as timers for transitions and token economies for following directions. We were told " we don't really do that here, but we will to see if it works" when we pulled our child out of the program due to our agency, calling us with severe concerns of maltreatment (the ABA company genuinely called and said if you can remove him from this school tomorrow you should), we requested our items back. Then we were told by the school they didn't even have these items anymore (which is crazy because 24 hours prior they lied directly to my face saying they were using them daily) If I could scream from the rooftops not to bring your child to this program, I would. If not only for the safety of your child's mental health. It took several years for my child to be able to trust schools and adults again. He would absolutely shake in terror around anyone with a British/Indian accent similar to Mrs Rushani. He's now in first grade at a public school in general education and thriving thankfully. He required a lot of love and understanding to trust school again. It was a long recovery from the treatment he received at this horrible school. 0 stars.

Miss Ann is truly an exceptional teacher. The way she works with Daniel emotionally, with so much patience, care, and understanding, has made such a beautiful difference in his growth. She always keeps open communication with us as parents, which we deeply appreciate. We always know what is happening at school and how we can support Daniel together. We've seen wonderful improvements in Daniel's writing, reading, memory, geography knowledge, and overall confidence. A special thank you as well to Miss Rosemary and Miss Soymia for their care and dedication. They always create such lovely celebrations and special moments for the children. She is one of the most amazing teachers that I have known and between my three kids we've had at least 15 teachers in different schools. I'm so sad that my daughter will be leaving this school to start public school in August. Thank you Montessori of Stevenson Ranch. Thank you to each and every staff member. Thank you for all the amazing memories.

My son started when he was 2 years old and just recently left to start kindergarten at a public elementary. My daughter is now enrolled in the infant class and I trust everyone like they're my own family. Michelle is the director and she was born to do this job. She is professional, organized, caring, friendly and trustworthy! The rest of the staff is incredibly warm, patient, and truly dedicated to fostering each child's unique growth. What sets this Montessori apart is the genuine commitment to creating a nurturing environment where learning is both fun and meaningful. The classrooms are beautifully organized, with a calm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages exploration and independence. My son has flourished here--I've seen significant improvements not only in his academic skills but also in his social and emotional development. The teachers are not just educators, but real partners in our child's journey. They take the time to get to know each child's needs, strengths, and interests, and they communicate regularly with us to ensure we are all on the same page. I love the fact that the Montessori method is based on self-directed learning--it really allowed my son to thrive at their own pace and I can't wait to see what it does for my daughter! Another huge plus is the strong sense of community. The school hosts various events that bring families together, and there's always an open line of communication with the school administration. It feels like a true partnership between parents and educators. If you're looking for a place where your child will receive individualized care, encouragement, and the opportunity to truly grow into a confident, capable learner, this is the school to choose. We're incredibly happy with our experience here and feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful Montessori program!

From our very first day, the guides welcomed us with warmth and reassurance, and the calm, structured Montessori environment immediately gave us peace of mind. The anxiety we had about leaving our infant in someone else's care quickly disappeared. Our first child has grown up here -- starting as an infant and now preparing for preschool age. Seeing the independence, confidence, and curiosity they've developed has been amazing. We were so impressed by the experience that when our second baby arrived, there was no hesitation about where to enroll them. What we appreciate most is the true Montessori environment: thoughtfully designed classrooms, guides who encourage exploration and independence, and a nurturing approach that supports each child's growth socially, emotionally, and academically. Guidepost Copper Hill has become more than just childcare -- it feels like a second home for our family. We wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent, especially first-time parents searching for both peace of mind and a place where children can truly thrive.

New families BEWARE!…read more I would not recommend this facility to anyone! Please look up licensing violations about this facility as there has been multiple! Including a child being spanked on the buttock and dragged by the ankles by an assistant guide. They have no cameras and very high turn around in assistant guides. Our kids are both finally back to their happy selves now they no longer go to Guidepost. They would beg to stay home, and ask teachers to call me daily asking me to come get them as early as 10am.... I have had to since put my daughter in therapy as she is so traumatised by her time at Guidepost. My daughter went into TK completely unprepared... a major criticism with Montessori and unfortunately it is true! There is much better actual Montessori preschools in the area where the kids actually learn and where they do not prioritise profit over children's wellbeing! My daughter learnt very little at Guidepost, even my son who has been at a public preschool since he was 3 would come home singing songs, be able to identify letters and numbers, bring home multiple pieces of artwork and papers on what he has learnt daily. When my daughter who was at Guidepost since she was 2, we took her out at close to 5 knew nothing!! I'm very curious as to what they actual did there all day. Transparent Classroom the website they use to post pictures was updated once a month with 1 photo.. and would be something to lines of spreading cheese on a cracker or washing a window. Please do your research you do not want to experience the mom guilt i have for sending my kids here !!! Also might want to do some further research on Guidepost Montessori.. i was so horrified knowing they had kept us in the dark so long!! Which is why it took 4 months to receive our deposit and it wasn't even the full amount. Extremely disappointed!

It took me almost 7 minutes just to explain my name, and my children's name. Moving on, she explained to me that they had an "infant A room and an infant B room" she explained that the infant A room only had Tuesday and Thursday availability but the B room has full availability. She explained that as for my 3 year old there was complete availability. Im sorry but this woman was a complete IDIOT. How do you not know your school doesn't have certain class rooms? The school is stunningly clean, spacious, tucked away from the busy streets in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, and features a large backyard, which we really wanted, being parents of a boy :) The curriculum is well crafted, getting the kids ready to meet and even exceed the requirements of elementary school. Know the alphabet, write your name, write words, small sentences, count to 20 - to name a few. The learning is well blended with an abundant amount of arts and crafts, so kids can freely express themselves. Study well, but play more - it's a ton of fun at SMCC! Plus they often organize super cool events that kids can't wait for.
