We've seen amazing progress in our son's independence, confidence, and curiosity since starting here. One of the things we really love is the app they use. It keeps us updated throughout the day with photos, activities, and even meals, which gives us such peace of mind. They also go above and beyond celebrating all the holidays. My daughter started here a little before she turned 3. I was very worried because she is very shy and takes time to warm up to people. Such an amazing school. This was my daughter's first school. She was always cared for at home with people she knew. So, this was a new experience for her and I. She was so nervous the first few months. but the staff made her feel so comfortable there. She didn't want to leave after graduation. They have such an amazing staff. If my daughter could stay there till the end of elementary school, I would have kept her there. We had such a good experience with MCD. She learned so much being there. She picked up some Spanish phrases. I followed their suggestion to continue her education with a second language. my daughter is enrolled in a dual immersion program. I love thIs school! Prior to enrolling my kids into Montessori child development, they would cry daily at drop off at two different preschools. Mrs. Abi and her team have an amazing way of making the kids feel comfortable. I feel at peace knowing my daughters are I i good hands. The curriculum at the school is awesome. My son has been at Safari for a year, beginning when he was 19 months old. The Director, Ms. Abi is amazing with the children and the parents and his teacher, Miss Claudia is too! It has been such a pleasure to have had enrolled both my kids in MCD preschool program. I was very much pleased with my son's progress while in the program that when the time came for my daughter to begin I didn't think twice to choose MCD once more. Our daughter flourished tremendously while in the program and we couldn't be more thankful for the great team at MCD. Aside from the educational piece, I knew she was in great care when she would come home and say how much she loved her teacher. Before choosing this Preschool I read reviews and took several tours at various schools. When I called Abi I was taken back at how pleasant she was over the phone. She explained everything in great detail and listened attentively to my concerns and wish list in a preschool. I decided to tour the school and found she didn't give tours during school hours both to pretect the children and give us undivided attention. She impressed me to be a very caring, honest, organized and disciplined person. It was those first few impressions of Abi that put me at ease when it came time to drop off my first child. Until my child became comfortable in this new environment, I received daily updates and always felt included in the school day. As time passed, my child began to blossom before our eyes. Academically and socially, we witnessed a burst of positive development and a lust for learning. We were so happy with this school and our child's progress that the following year we enrolled our second child. After 3 years, both our boys graduated preschool and we're ready for Kindergarten. Both able to read, write very well and strong in math. In the time we were at this preschool we have had the pleasure of getting to know Ms. Claudia, who is super sweet and very creative. Ms. Hilda who my kids all adore and who was instrumental in overcoming "selective eater" challenges. And Ms. Abi who not only is the Director hiring all these fantastic teachers but who is a gifted educator. She speaks to the children with tenderness and kindness. She explains things in a way they understand and reinforces a constants message that each one is unique and deserving of love. Your child's confidence grows each day. I believe that having a great teacher in the early stages of a child's education is key to a successful future. I was very fortunate to have 2 children attend Safari Preschool with Mrs. Abi. At first I was just looking for a teacher that would teach my children the basics so they would be prepared for kindergarten. Everyday I received an update of my children's progress & also what curriculums they needed to focus on. My children learned the basics but also was surprised when they were already learning about math,writing,science,Spanish,art,music and even had ballet/yoga...each day was a different subject that they concentrated on. I liked that if there was a certain topic that my children couldn't get,they focused on it one on one & they were assigned one specific day of the week to work on their weakness ...until they were confident enough that my children understood it completely. My son was very shy when he first attended,but broke out of his shell quickly. The kids are also taught responsibility. Each week several children are given a job to do in the classroom...this is nice because my children would bring the eagerness of helping and used it at home. I can happily say that my children will be ahead of their class because of the great guidance that this school has given them. We all know that teachers that care for their students' future are hard to come by. Any child who decides to attend this school will be very lucky/happy to have such a caring teacher and assistants on their journey to their education!! read more

My son has attended Safari Preschool for about a year and a half now. Ms. Abi, the preschool director, does a great job of communicating with me about my son's progress as well as what he needs to work on. I truly feel she has every child's best interest in mind. The children stay on a schedule, which makes it easy for me to follow at home. My son (who is almost 3) talks about his teachers and friends he has at school constantly. He brings home art projects often and has an end of the year performance. Our daughter attended Safari Preschool from October 2014 - August 2016 and now is attending Kindergarten in a private school. She was 3 when she started preschool and we got lucky finding such a wonderful environment for our child to learn in. We had just moved back to the area from Washington state and I was looking for a caring daycare but received so much more! My child learned so much in the 2 years she attended Safari Preschool. She learned to write very well and knew how to spell her name (first and last), knew her letters (uppercase and lowercase), colors, and shapes in a short time. She learned responsibility and how to follow rules which made her socially ready for interacting with other students and teachers when she started kindergarten. Ms. Abi and Ms. Hilda are truly amazing and sincerely love these children, they have a passion for what they do. Our daughter still talks about them and misses them. We will be forever grateful for the solid educational start our daughter received. It is so valuable and I truly believe it has made a huge difference in her success in Kindergarten. Our daughter's kindergarten teacher says that she is always the first one done with her schoolwork and often helps the other students understand the lessons being taught. I give credit to Safari Preschool for this, the school structure and class curriculum really prepare each student for success. Ms. Abi has a genuine interest in each student and works so closely with each parent to personalize their experience. I always found comfort knowing that when I dropped my daughter off each morning, I knew she was in a loving, caring, attentive environment and always came home happy.
