Legacy, it has a great security system in the school, with an easy drop off. The school campus is small and great for little ones . 2 to 3-year-olds and even up I think to 5th. I really love the teaching style that my kids have at Legacy Montessori. my daughter and my son attended for two years and kindergarten through second and 3rd-4th. The school teacher Friday is amazing, subject, including speech, intimate, and our favorite mandarin. this one for us to continue a passion for Mandarin and we still have those in Mandarin and now have a live-in aupair from China. The school snd teachers Teach, kindness, respect, and sharing. Really, many of the things most public schools do not take consideration off. Really, still to this day, I value and love that this school took the time to get to know each family, and each child individually. The teachers are highly qualified, with strong educational backgrounds, and are exceptional at guiding children to respect one another and follow school rules in a nurturing environment. What we love most are the school's Christian-based story time, themed learning topics, and weekly sharing activities, which help build both character and a strong sense of community. Their summer program is one of the most family-friendly we've found--an excellent opportunity for families to experience the school and see if it's a good fit. Over the years, our child has gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and developed solid math and reading skills. We're especially touched by the dedication of the teachers, who gather at 7 a.m. to pray for the students and stay until 6 p.m. to care for them with genuine love and commitment. We feel truly blessed to be part of this school and highly recommend it to any family seeking a values-driven, academically enriching environment for their children.

We moved to San Diego two years ago. Before that, we had a childcare provider that we really loved, and we were concerned about finding something comparable. I think we contacted close to 25 different providers before deciding on Ms. Elizabeth and Montessori Center SD, and wow, what a great decision. She has far exceeded any expectations we had. We love the balance of free play and structured, Montessori-style learning. It feels like a lot of providers simply slap that word in their branding but aren't actually delivering. Ms. Elizabeth is the real deal, and it feels like our daughters really are learning and growing. Our older daughter started TK this past year, and she was extremely well prepared for basic writing, the ability to sit and concentrate, and general social dynamics. Beyond the basics, we love that Ms. Elizabeth creates opportunities throughout the year to come together and meet the other families and parents. The other amazing thing has been how healthy our kids have stayed over the last two years. In the past, we used to deal with the kids constantly picking up colds and germs, which were then seemingly re-shared and re-circulated without any real resolution. She has grown tremendously under Elizabeth's care, in her language skills, educational foundation, and social skills! Elizabeth has met her where she is at and kept her engaged. The class size is small, so my little has gotten lots of attention and been supported through success in toilet learning! Elizabeth uses positive discipline and redirection, effectively managing the class without shaming children. This was very important to us! Elizabeth has also been a great support, providing guidance, resources, and insight on how we can implement Montessori principles at home. She has helped me get a better grasp on positive discipline, and also helped me to navigate my child's developmental leaps. Setting up a tour and getting more information was a breeze. The facilities are clean, secure, and well thought out. Each classroom is explicitly arranged to encourage exploration and engagement. Ms. Corrales and all the teachers & staff truly care about each student. It always impressed me how they knew every kid's name and family, no matter which classroom or age. Our daughter always felt welcomed, safe, and cared for. As a parent, I truly appreciated the clear and quick communication we received from the newsletters, emails, and updated calendar on the parent portal. All questions were answered quickly. No communication was ever ignored or unaddressed. I looked forward to getting monthly Dragonfly newsletters and seeing photos of all the wonderful things they did. One thing I especially loved was how families were encouraged to come share cultural holidays, celebrations, and food with the class. Our daughter developed leaps and bounds in Dragonflies. As a parent of a daughter who will graduate from Country Montessori School this year, I find myself…read morefeeling both incredibly proud and genuinely excited as she prepares to head to middle school. When I look at the person she has become, I'm honestly amazed. She is confident, outspoken, and comfortable expressing her thoughts in a way I never was at her age. Montessori has played a huge role in that growth. Over the years, she has learned that her voice matters and that she can advocate for herself and others respectfully and thoughtfully. That confidence didn't come overnight, but it's now such a natural part of who she is. She asks questions, speaks up in group settings, and isn't afraid to share her ideas, which I know will serve her well wherever she goes next. One of the most meaningful parts of her experience has been the emphasis on community service. Her favorite activity has been volunteering at a memory care facility. She comes home from those visits talking about the residents she met and how much it meant to spend time with them. Those experiences have had a real impact on her and have even shaped her future goals. She often says she wants to be a nurse someday because she wants to help people, and as a parent, there's nothing more heartwarming than seeing that sense of compassion grow. We moved our child recently from another school to Lifetime after wanting more structure in an…read moreacademic setting, balanced with group play and exploration. Every child and family have different needs and it was important that we found teachers and an administration that was willing to partner with us to address any concerns and proactively work together to find solutions. We have been very impressed with the leadership, admin and teachers' transparency, accountability and communication. So many schools can feel like a corporate profit driven endeavor and we have observed that Lifetime cares deeply about children development and curating their interests. A simple example is that we asked that our child be allowed to observe the classroom Montessori 'work' session in action before making a decision to enroll her formally (this would be the first time our child would observe a Montessori class in person).The school year had already started and the Director, Kristin, asked that we hold off until the second or third week of school so that she could support the teachers to protect the integrity of what they were trying to establish in the new classroom on the first week of school without creating a distraction. She could have easily agreed to allow us to observe sooner so we could enroll earlier (other schools did), etc... it's through small actions and decisions that we felt comfortable placing our child there with a team of educators and admin that truly put the children's wellbeing and needs first. They also have set up a system of room parents that are very helpful to guide fellow parents with onboarding, external play dates and organizing events. There is no perfect childcare or school, but at the end of the day, we chose Lifetime because we are confident that the whole team works together to communicate openly and will partner together to honor what's best for our child. It's also a great sign when the teachers choose to coteach together for multiple years, clearly, they are enjoying it :). Thanks to the whole team for putting in their efforts to create a space for children to explore, learn and play!
