Both of our boys were reading by the age of four, developed a genuine love of learning, and entered each new stage with confidence. They learned early math concepts like addition and are heading into elementary school well-prepared academically. We truly believe the individualized, hands-on Montessori environment helped foster their independence, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. Equally important to us was the Christian foundation of the school. It was such a blessing to know that the values and biblical principles being taught at school aligned with what we were teaching at home. Having that consistency during their early years was incredibly meaningful for our family. As we begin a new chapter, we do so with thankful hearts. Legacy has given our children a strong academic, spiritual, and personal foundation, and we will always be grateful for the role it has played in their lives. He 'graduated' from Legacy at 6 years old and has grown up beautifully. We are so grateful for all of the staff's love and care in educating and raising him. It was bittersweet saying goodbye, but seeing him thrive at elementary school is so gratifying (and also a relief knowing he won't be behind in his skills and development). Legacy prepared him so well in his all-around development from technical math, science and reading skills, to social and creative skills. I especially love that the school also practices good Christian faith principals which aren't overtly religious but rather universal when it comes to patience, generosity, kindness, good manners etc. I enrolled my 2nd son at Legacy knowing that he would thrive as well and he's doing great. They will take your money to add you to an imaginary waitlist, which they will then "pause" without notice and without a refund of your deposit. I paid the waitlist fee of $150 on April 6, 2022 with a projected opening spot of December 2022 for my infant. I inquired numerous times regarding my place on the waitlist, only to be given vague responses such as: 1. "We are still working our way through the waitlist" 2. "We have paused all Poway enrollment at this time, we are hoping to enroll new children very shortly into our center. I will be in touch with you soon once we start to move down the waitlist", and 3. "Once we come across your name on the waitlist and a spot becomes available I will be in touch with you immediately." It's the end of January 2023 and I have yet to hear from them. My family and I waited and waited to hear from them, and were not able asses our childcare options properly due to their lack of communication. At this point, I don't believe there is even a waitlist anymore, and i just lost $150 at no fault of our own. If I had removed myself from the waitlist I would understand not getting a refund, but that is not the case. I'm still here waiting for them to "come across my name." I would not recommend taking the chance. Good luck, parents!

We transferred our son to this location and what a breath of fresh air. Melinda the principal is AMAZING! She genuinely cares about each child enrolled here and their families. I can't sing enough praise about her and her leadership. The admin has also been great and are so on top of everything (Jessica and Angela). Our son was in the infant room and we had NO issues and knew our son was in great care. Even with COVID on the rise, I feel safer than ever sending my son back here. The staff has implemented a lot of protocol to ensure the kids are safe and my son has been so happy playing his his friends again. They have been extremely communicative and adaptable during these times and I know any child walking through that door will be in great hands. Definitely don't think twice about enrolling your child here.

The infant class is a little tough only because it's 0-12 month kiddos all together (and mostly tough for naps if you have a light sleeper) BUT Ms. Christina and her crew are so patient and experts at managing the chaos. Once our kiddo transferred into the next class (12-18 mos), there was a huge improvement in their sleep. Overall: The staff seem like they all truly care about all of the kids. There are fun spirit days quite frequently. Splash days during the summer. School events pretty regularly. Their hours are extremely helpful with our work schedules. There is a sibling discount. We saw / have seen a huge improvement in our kids speech, drawing, writing, etc. And our kids enjoy, and have enjoyed, going to D.I.

This is more than a school, this is a community! Finally, our daughter came home one day and started singing in Spanish ( nobody in our home speaks Spanish) This is just another example of the amazing work the school is doing with our daughter.
