They food was very tasty and made of fresh ingredients. Also, when they were cutting the chicken pieces, there wasn't too much oil coming off of the meat, which reassured me of it being healthier than other places. Falafel tasted pleasantly different from other shawarma places and the staff explained to us how the ingredients are different for Egyptian style falafels.

I liked that the rice was fluffy and seasoned, with some peas and diced carrot. This main dish came with a side (either Lentil Soup or Salad). I chose the House Salad (just iceberg lettuce and tomato); it came in a container all wet and soggy because they had mixed the dressing in. In other places where I've gotten salad for to-go, usually they kept the dressing separate. Cauliflower & Tomatoes and Grilled Vegetables were overcooked (very soft and limpy), and covered with too much tomato sauce. They were still tasty, but I wish they weren't so saucy.

Funny thing, I was a faceless person everytime. Yes I mobile ordered and yes I didnt spend 5min annoyingly listing the toppings one by one, but they were slow at filling and saw me every night...and still I felt faceless and nobody. I returned back because my bookkeeper actually reads the Pennysave (???), yes apparently she reads all the junk mail that comes through the office and she declared it is time to return to Lazeez because she was sick of the veggie burger option that tempted her to order onion rings and fries because ordering a salad was the same as doubling up the toppings (I do agree with that). In any case returned with my two can dine, so just a break down the regular shawarma is 7.99+tax, the two can dine is 12.99+tax with two chicken shawarma and two drinks. So it's a $3 saving overall with a drink. And because I never eat alone I always order two for someone else to join me :) So when I ordered and they were filing my order I observed new toppings when I was...made aware that I hadn't been around for week (hehehe I know!). We got the Rayhoon trio sampler, Addas Palo, and lamb shank. The trio sampler was basically 3 different dippings and came with a basket of bread. The owner was very nice. While we were enjoying the food, he walked up and greeted. He explained how we could use the trio sampler to enjoy the entrees which really made it even better. Following the suggestion, I put a little bit of lamb sauce over the rice and put a little bit of yogurt sauce over a small piece of lamb, then ate them all in one spoon.... It was amazing!
