I started going to a chiropractor in LA while I was pregnant having upper back pain. I had never been before in my life (my sister and mother went but for some reason I thought if you went once, you'd have to continue going) - I was missing out. So going while pregnant was definitely super helpful and after having a child, I need to get readjusted every once in a while after all that bending over changing diapers/playing with baby etc. This is my go-to place when visiting family over the holidays and during the summer. This place is also affordable and will work with patients with no insurance (which was helpful for me when I didn't go back to work after having the baby). Anyways, Dr. Goodman is great. He is such a great conversationalist, and it seems all his customers love him - just look at his picture wall when you come in and you'll see all the smiling faces! He seems to really try to develop a relationship with his patients. His waiting room is also pretty big (maybe I'm just used to my small LA office) and has a TV. Only downfall is metered parking - so bring some change!

Customer service and reasonable discretion matter, particularly when trying to build new relationships. Based on this experience, I won't be rebooking.

When I asked for clarification, the responses felt vague (e.g., "muscle strain" or "tension") and did not provide a clear understanding of what was actually occurring. After seeking a second opinion, another chiropractor was able to perform an X-ray and provide a more detailed diagnosis in one visit than I received after three sessions at your office. Additionally, during my last visit I waited approximately 20 minutes before the massage therapist entered, and the treatment was performed on the opposite side of my body from where the injury was located. At that point I needed to leave to return to my daughter and did not have time to address it in the moment. I am also unclear about the $50 deposit I paid. I was told my insurance covered the sessions and that the $50 went toward a balance, but I was never informed what that balance was or provided with a receipt. They are super sketchy and evasive when talking about payments. Do not recommend.

However, once I got there, he didn't seem to know what to do with me. He asked me if I could get on my stomach... uh, no. Anyone with a single ounce of experience working with pregnant patients should know I can't get on my stomach on a regular bench. He then said, "hmmm, I'll have get creative," which was another mark that he didn't know what to do with pregnant patients! Even though my first experience was pretty much useless, I was in so much pain and desperate so I decided to give this place a second chance. However, the second time was even worse. I was first put on a heat pad for about 15 minutes while he worked on another patient, and then seen by the chiropractor for a grand total of 7 minutes while he was bopping around 2 other patients at the same time. During my 40 minutes in the office, the chiropractor saw FOUR patients total. Clearly not spending that much time with each patient. Office staff and chiropractor are friendly people, but it's clear they double/triple/quadruple book in the same time slots intentionally. Definitely not worth the $ to be seen for less than 10 minutes.

I can't recommend them more enthusiastically. I went for lower back pain that I'd had for ten…read moreyears. I'm 58, and was completely debilitated. I was in constant pain, getting injections every few months to help and never feeling well. I need to stand for parts of my job so it was a real problem for me, but I also felt pain non stop. My back pain had just gotten worse and worse over a period of years. They introduced me to extracorporeal shock wave therapy and now I am a completely evangelist about it. After about 6 sessions, I had no more back pain. Now I go back annually for a tune up and feel so free. I did not imagine there was a solution, and know that surgery on lower backs does not have great outcomes. So glad I went to Rittenhouse Chiropractic. Also, their staff is incredibly nice.

The pain was agonizing. I gooogled chiropractors in the area , messaged the office and was able to make a same day appointment and I've been seeing him ever since. I love that you can text for appointments. You can get a same day appointment. Dr. Burak is charismatic and he's kind, knowledgeable , down to earth and really good at what he does! I recommend Huntingdon Valley Chiropractic 10 out of 10 times. Its also a great location with plenty of parking.
