The lash studio is so beautifully decorated and I was greeted immediately by Vivian, owner of the studio. This was my first time with lash extensions and she was very informative and personable. I had gotten the classic full set so it took her a little over an hour and she was always checking to make sure I was comfortable, etc. Painless and a quite enjoyable service. He failed at his job and I will keep posting updates periodically to hopefully stop some unsuspecting client the trouble that I have gone through. My daughter kept telling me that the one side of my face looked different than the other side. I didn't see it at first but as time progresses it's very noticeable. Shapiro said it would last 5-7 yrs and it hasn't lasted a year! I am so disappointed and angry, I trusted him and now I am deformed. I received a VM that we missed the appointment. I called within the hour to inform the appointment should have been for Sunday. The owner said she was charging me full price($120) for no show even after I explained there was an issue with the app. She even agreed there was an issue with the app but said I signed a cancellation disclosure. The weird part is that the owner knows me by name b/c my husband and I frequently get massages at in balance. The owner starting raising her voice and yelling at me on the phone. We have never missed an appointment before so her reaction and behavior is ridiculous. I informed if she charged me for not showing I would no longer book massages at her studio. She was fine with that and charged me full price for the massage even though her cancellation policy fee is $50. This whole interaction is beyond bizarre and between the studios use of an app they know is an issue, not receiving a confirmation via text or email, being charged full price after explaining the issue was not within my control and then being treated poorly and yelled out we won't be back. I wanted to get my husband a massage for Father's Day not deal with this bullshit.

I met Nicole right before she opened The Healing room. As we talked she helped me to realize that I had been chronic Lyme disease as I've been diagnosed with Lyme 3 x's. I've learned so much about my body & Lyme since working with Nicole, since she's opened her doors. I've been doing Lymphatic therapy treatments with Nicole since October and the changes in my mind, body & spirit have been incredible!! My mental clarity, physical pain & energy levels have improved Gradually over these last months as I'm now able to meditate, & exercise & do yoga again. Nicole also adds Reiki to her treatments that in assist in the healings. Heavens Day Spa is in a small shopping strip and apparently there is a parking lot behind. I parked on the street. The salon is pretty small and definitely not elegant. But I never judge that at first, because many small places provide great service for a fraction of the price compared to big, elegant salons. The room I was in, did not have a door, but a curtain. A woman escorted me into the room and told me to undress. I assumed she was the masseuse. I was wrong. Shortly after, a man walked in, no introduction, and started the massage. He seemed somewhat distracted, leaving the room multiple times. Also, the other woman entered the room multiple times to speak to the man. The music stopped and was not out back on for about half an hour. I had a hard time relaxing, based on the lack of music, street noise, man leaving the room, woman entering the room, and other guests coming in loudly. I am not sure if I will try them again, but if so, I will go during a weekday, when maybe it's quieter and staff is more attentive. The massage itself was decent, but relaxation is supposed to be part of the experience.
