I have very serious concerns about the Montgomery County Police. I was working as a poll-worker in Primary Day. A Montgomery County Police Officer working private security at the Bender Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington ejected me from a polling place in violation of the First Amendment. I was beyond the "No Electioneering" sign. contrary to what is seen in the video, the big sign that was right there was not the new election sign. The no election sign was several feet away from that and it was in bushes. I have been an election judge. I have been a poll worker. We tell people to get back behind the no electioneering sign all the time. That is for election judges. It is not for the bender Jewish community center of greater Washington to use an off duty police officer to eject a poll worker. The law says that they're supposed to make their parking lot available to members of the public for election hearing if they are a poling place. The ACC miss quoted me saying that I said, "because it was not a polling place. The sign did not attach." That is absurd. These people are an abomination to justice. I had neighbors get their cars broken into. The police don't do anything about that because the Montgomery county Council will not let them. But they gladly eject pool workers from pulling places when they try to term limit our County Executive. This is the East Coast of the United States, not eastern Europe. Get it right! read more

I know the police job is a tough one, but the MC mounties are either spread too thin or demoralized and corrupt--or a mixture of these. They rarely use turn signals and don't obey the speed limits. My girlfriend was denied right-of-way while in a crosswalk by a police cruiser. When she complained they blamed it on her; said she must have been outside the crosswalk. Come on, now! A terrible thing happened to me on December 29, 2016. I ran out of gas on Georgia Ave in Olney at a stoplight. I thought my husband was looking out for these kind of things. He thought I was. Never the less, I did a careless, stupid, potentially dangerous act; I did not check my gas level gauge, and thus ran out of gas. This has not happened to me before in all the many, many, many, years of driving. How stupid! How embarrassing! How could this happen? But this story has a nice ending. Montgomery County Police came up behind me, assessed the situation, and took me to buy some gas, and return to the station to fill my car up. Then I was able to drive home. These two gentlemen were so kind and generous. We civilians in Montgomery County, are truly blessed to have such responsible and caring police officers as these patrolling our streets. I apologize for taking them from their much more serious duties than my carelessness. I thank them profusely for their kindly assistance. Non-emergency dispatch claimed they could not find the address I provided them, despite the fact I also had it on GPS. Would have been amazing, had I been kidnapped. The dispatch lady lacked empathy, lacked training, and lacked everything that is important for a dispatcher. I work in EMS, so I unequivocally know how this all works. Furthermore, when I called back, the woman refused to send out an officer! I have always, always held the police in such high esteem, but after this incident and another one previous to this, I am done. I am contemplating suing the department, since my calls were recorded, and they should be enough evidence alone to have a case. I do not trust anyone in the MoCo PD system, anymore. Can I give NEGATIVE stars!?! I went in physically and talked to a male officer about harassing texts I was getting from a guy that my friend set me up with. The first time we met he was talking normally and the second time we met he was talking like some doped up, high, rap obsessed, street weirdo black guy from the hood and even claimed to have an alias. We were supposed to meet the friend that set us up who never showed and I decided I didn't like this and wanted to go and couldn't shake the freak when we were walking around DC. Then he follows me to the McDonald's over by Verizon Center and starts shouting me random shit like he's known me 15 years (I'm 24 and we only met twice!!!) and some other psycho stuff! Then he asks where I want to eat like it's ALL back to normal and I told him I just wanted to go back home to my place and he kept on insisting we go to his grabbing at me and all claiming it was closer all the while I was scanning the strip for a cop and saw NONE!!! IT turned out that we both lived on a connected bus line!!! I tried to lose him in the crowd of people to the bus and failed and tried to lose him on the crowded bus so he wouldn't see me slip away!!! NO LUCK!!! The guy literally pulled me off the bus with him and to his apartment and I kept on saying I want out and screaming and all that but everyone home must have been DEAF!!! There was one woman that saw us on the bus and got off at the same stop claiming she was waiting for the perfect time to tell us how cute a couple we were and he said we're just friends and apparently she didn't get my save me please he's going to hurt me look!!! When we got to his place I asked to use the bathroom and he started pounding on it like he was going to break it down claiming he had to search me for weapons!!! I started to panic as my cell was in the living room and there was like nothing under the sink!!! Shortly after he tried to rape me but I started shouting more with still no help and I called his complex which ONLY HAS A NUMBER TO USE TO REACH THEM AFTER HOURS AND HAVE GOTTEN NOWHERE!!! I blocked his cell and thought that was the last of it but somehow the idiot was smart enough (bet he had help) to get a NEW number and has been sending me texts that have threatened my life mixed with random gibberish about music and kids I don't have and the cops here told me that until he physically puts a bullet in me they will do NOTHING EVEN IF AN ATTEMPT AT PHYSICAL HARM (THE ATTEMPTED RAPE) ALLIGATION was already made!!! They said ALL I could do was talk about it with the non-emergency people!!! I cannot get my number changed as it's in a Verizon family plan in my family's name and so all I have the power to do is block numbers and check account info!!! I mean for real downtown Silver Spring cops hardly do more than waste time on the least of parking violations as it's such a parking nightmare down here!!!
