By the time we were called back to see the doctor, she was over it!! Then the doctor had the nerve to say something like, "If you don't do what I ask, I can make you do it and you won't like me for it." WTH?!? First of all SIR, she's a baby and momma bear's about to pounce!!! Second of all, shes been patiently waiting for HOURS!! She's irritated, along with her mom and dad! Argh!!! The rudeness started when we were called back. The lady who came out to get us, didn't even hold the door for us to get through. She let the door go, and I got caught in the door. We proceed to her office, where she was clearly and Auburn fab because there was a lot of Auburn stuff on the walls. Maybe that's why she was mad. Because her team loss... Anyway, she was so dry and rude. She didn't even crack a smile. Moreover, when she put the drops in our daughter's eyes, she was rough. She then instructed us to sit in the dark room with the fish tank. The other ladies, who I believe were techs, who kept coming to the room to check on the dilation of her eyes were super nice and sweet. Thank God for those women! If y'all ever get an office, I'm coming! You got our business!! Finally her eyes were dilated. We were instructed to go into another room and wait for the doctor. We waited... and waited... and waited... and waited some more! By this time, the baby is restless and screaming! As I stated above, the doctor was so unprofessional. I didn't appreciate the way he talked to my daughter. Moreover, I didn't appreciate his tardiness with no apology or explanation... then he trust to be rude - bye doc!!

I called my optometrist at Montgomery Eye Physicians who had referred me to him and explaimed what happened. They said I would have to return to Dr. Parma before they could prescribe my glasses. It took me a month to get in to see Dr. Parma the first time. I asked would I have to go through the whole process again from scratch and she couldn't say. No apology. At this point, I am very discouraged. And still very much in need of glasses. I called another optometrist, and it would be six weeks before I could see either one of them.

In midyear 2023 they no longer accepted my insurance provider Cigna Dental. The only change for me was that MGM Dentistry moved from an in network provider to an Out of Network provider. Out of Network providers with Cigna Dental are still paid and I have a ZERO DEDUCTIBLE for two annual routine dental visits. After several requests to this group to file my claim correctly they have done nothing and continue to invoice me $250 plus for a cleaning that clearly is a ZERO deductible to me. To further complicate and inconvenience me is that MD is in the middle of replacing a warranted crown that I paid in full. The crown procedure cracked my tooth root and two months later I am paying an Oral Surgeon to extract the tooth and prepare my jaw for an implant. However I remain in limbo since MD can't get my coverage straight. I never asked for this situation and I feel MD has dropped the ball and is unwilling to take the task to manage a transition in insurance coverage created by their action.
