I brought a dress to them for an alternation for the length. They called me about a week later later telling me it was done. I went to get the dress, tried it on and it was exactly the same as when I brought it to them. They measured the dress again and repined it again. A few days later I get a phone call from them asking me what are they supposed to do with the dress??? Even though they had a note pinned to the dress with that information, along with my phone number. I told them once again. When I went to pick up the dress, it was finally done right but I think they charged way too much just for a simple alteration. I will NOT be going back to them for these 2 reasons. read more

They had great service and the two sisters (the owners) I met were very kind and welcoming. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted done but they helped out greatly with the process. They did my clothes very quickly and everything came out just as I wanted it too. They were much better than the last tailor, Tovar's tailor' that I went to. I was able to pay with a check which was great and an added bonus was the cute dog that they had. read more

The owner is so sweet and kind. The prices are a little higher than I expected. Paid $43 to bring in a dress 2-3 inches at the waist. I would just recommend calling to check on your items after you drop it off just to make sure it'll be done on time for when you need it. I dropped my dress off on Wednesday to pick up on Monday. I called 2 hours before they closed and they said it's not ready but luckily they were able to finish it right before they close. Sometimes they don't answer the phone, but be understanding because it's a small family owned business. Highly recommend! read more

I want to love this place but goodness I paid for a service that was supposed to make my life easier and it very much did the opposite. I dropped off 2 items of clothing on a Friday and was told to come by for them on Wednesday, which was completely fine because I only needed them by that weekend. I called on Wednesday to confirm the pickup but was on the phone for over 10 minutes while being repeatedly asked my first name, last name, what my items of clothing were, and phone number. I kid you not, I said and spelled out my last name and was asked 4-5 times during the same call to say it again because she "forgot". Even giving my phone number was a hassle because I had to repeat that way too many times. A standard phone number has 3 numbers, then another 3 numbers, and then 4. Why did the person on the phone keep repeating 4 middle numbers? These people were all over the place and couldn't even remember the color of my clothing items as they were looking for them while we were on the phone. After the phone call, I decided to just drive to the store to find my clothes and get an actual pickup time. I had to find the clothes myself and was told they would *definitely* be ready by noon on Thursday. I called on Thursday to confirm and was told essentially that someone else's clothes were more important and that mine wouldn't be ready until 4 on Thursday. I finally got my clothes back on that Thursday but it took way too much effort on my part though the work done on the clothes was fine. I suspect that they charge based on the brand of the clothes because the tailoring I needed done on my Forever 21 romper was substantially less than what I needed done on a BCBG dress, but the former cost about twice as much. read more

I am so happy with my alterations! I took a dress that needed to e taken in on the straps and sides. The straps were a different cut and I was a little worried how she would keep the integrity of the design. They were perfect! I can't tell where the alterations were made and the dress fits like a glove! I will be doing all of my alterations thru Mrs Montoya! I was also very happy that she had a debit card machine. I have taken several pairs of jeans there to get the legs hemmed. They did a good job and are flexible on how quickly you need them done. Call ahead of going near lunch hours. Jeans are $13-$14 per pair to have hemmed. read more

Mary Montoya and her staff are highly competent and they charge very reasonable prices. Mary went above and beyond to make sure my bridesmaid dress was fitted properly and made sure I was happy with it before I left her store when I came to pick it up.
