I purchased Seven Corners travel insurance for an international trip and filed a claim after my airline canceled and rerouted my return flight. The claims process was extremely burdensome. Seven Corners repeatedly requested more documentation, including airline records, flight receipts, hotel records, payment records, and even my own credit card statements, which I had to redact to protect my personal information. I spent a substantial amount of time chasing documents from companies that either couldn't provide them or didn't respond. After all of that, Seven Corners ultimately paid $300 under the one-day Travel Delay maximum. I understand that insurance coverage is governed by the policy. My issue is that the time and effort required to document this relatively small claim felt completely disproportionate to the benefit received. After this experience, I'll be looking elsewhere for travel insurance. If you're considering Seven Corners, read the coverage limits carefully and be prepared for a very documentation-intensive claims process.

I thought, Seven is supposed to be good and honest, so I got the letter from the Airlines showing the flight was cancelled, and thus, I was delayed getting to Ireland and forced to lose money. Nevermind the wasted gas, and food thanks to being at the airport on a beautiful sunny day before my flight was cancelled. Seven sent a rejection letter with no real explanation and a fake apology for rejecting the claim. The policy cost way more than the one night of lodging. They are still making a killing on me. I'll be on the lookout for a company with policy holders who've had to make claims moving forward. It's nice to know I was risking my wellbeing and financial future under Seven Corners.
