I ended up doing her Hourglass Facial for anti-aging, dermaplaning (guys, this is not face shaving. It will remove peach fuzz, but it is the best way to exfoliate imo) and she did brow shaping. My skin was glowing and it looked so good. Couldn't get in until later that week, then the day before they had a schedule conflict and put me out further with someone else even though the whole point of the paperwork was to match you with a stylist personality and hair wise. I don't hate it but I will NEVER EVER go back to clementine on 134th. . She said she was going to highlight, lowlight, tone, trim, layer, and do a Fuzio treatment. A switch flipped once I agreed to the payment $220 and signed the paper she starts yanking my hair and stabbing my scalp and hair with the root brush pulling my hair as hard as possible patting the foils hard literally hitting me in the head. Not a single word the entire torturous foil, then to the bowl I stg yanking all the foils out ripping hair out water cold af shampoo smacking my head and ripping out hair by my neck wraps brushes the rats nest she created w/a brush. Same with roots just smacking me with a bigger brush slapping it on not even being dramatic, then to the bowl again scalding water this time says I'm only trimming a little of the bottom of the back, no layers, toner, or massage at this point I didn't want her touching me again anyway. She says okay do you want me to dry it or curl or something like she was done, I couldn't even tell what color it was sopping wet. I said yes can you please do some like loose beach curls and show me how she says yes and whips my chair away from the mirror pulls more hair out drying it with a roller brush and more yanking and torture with a hot curling iron I can literally see smoke coming off because she didn't dry it all the way she flips the chair around to the mirror and says there it looks much better. I was polite the entire time and left everything up to her to try to calm her down pretty much but this was one of the worst experiences of my life my scalp was on fire from the dye and and how much hair she ripped out I saw her pulling it out of her brushes when I was checking out and saw it on her dye brushes from how rough she was with that too. I hate people that treat others this way and she had my hair in her hands so I felt like I couldn't say anything. Then the person who rang me up magically forgot and tried to say she couldn't find the $63 deposit I already was charged a week prior to even schedule there. I watched the other stylists do the gentle scalp massage that was supposed to come with the treatment I paid for and they were so nice and gentle and having conversations it made me even madder like what is her problem and why am I stuck with her. I literally came home and cried I had a migraine the rest of the night and my scalp still hurts this morning. This was the first time in 15 years I attempted a little self care at a hair salon to spend some money on myself, I told her that too right off the bat and we'll I'd rather box dye and cut my own hair from now on. on top of all this then deleted my google review. There were cameras in the store they could watched the entire interaction and seen that it was true.

Not only does she take her time with drawing the brows, but she is also super knowledgeable on color theory and the pigments to use so that you leave with the perfect brows. I'm always curious about how everything works, and Riley is always kind enough to explain what's in the ink, how microblading works on the skin, etc. She is highly passionate in her field, and it 100% shows through her work. I did microblading a while back from someone else, and the ink faded to a reddish tone, and she used the perfect color to even that reddish tone out. You are definitely in good hands with Riley! Also, I am now super intrigued at what else Elysian has to offer, so I will be back for sure!

This is the only place local I've found that offers Eminence, which is an organic product line. I'm hooked on it! It costs comparative to other luxury skin care products but I love that it's organic and natural. Sara is never pushy about purchasing product, but is more concerned about which would be best for you and your specific skin issues, and products that resolve multiple issues you might have. She's also very creative in using product for what's currently going on with your skin. I've had facials at other places before, and sometimes it seems they just follow a basic product regimen, or is limited. You can tell Sara really enjoys what she does and the products she provide because she get's creative with it! So why, if I love her service so much, wouldn't I give a 5 star? Really, it's a small reason, and it's mainly preference: Her office is a spa co-op space, meaning there are multiple service vendors in one building. There's NEVER a noise level or service issue, but it's just a little cramped for me. Once I get on the table and relaxed though, I don't want to leave!
