They let us rent out the SUP and and then applied the rental fee towards our purchase of the board. Considering these boards, are well over $1,000 we got a good deal on the SUP and the Werner paddle was included in the price. These paddles alone are close to $100. The thing I really noticed during our visits is just how friendly, nice and professional the staff has been. They take the time to talk to you, ask you about your needs, and direct you to potential options. The staff we encountered also SUP, so that always leads to a multitude of conversations. Good places to SUP, bad places, types of different boards, etc, etc. Although, they have some great water wear, the clothing options are on the pricier side. I found a cute pair of water shorts, but couldn't justify paying $60.

If you are going on a party boat you can grab some extra rigs and weights, if you fishing near the marina or surf fishing they have all the live and frozen bait + lures you will need. They even have rods and reels for sale. Best part is they have boats to rent that you can take around in the Shark River. They are small (16ft) and have like a 9 HP engine but get the job done to cruise around the river and do some fishing. Bring your patience if you are heading in there before the party boats head out (early morning) (2:30 pm) because it will be crowded in there but they move the line quickly.

The best kind of camp-Surf Camp! This is the fifth year a group of seven cousins have spent a week…read morewith Summertime! The cousins look forward to it all year! The water safety training is real, the atmosphere relaxed and the lessons last a lifetime. The crew is excellent- the coolest folks on the beach- the crew treat the kids like younger siblings. They guide them, rib them and laugh with them the whole time. Our group stays half day. Each half day is organized to include yoga, free swim, races and of course riding waves! It is safe to leave the kids and enjoy free time. It's also ok to take advantage of the great photo opportunities too! For four years our group was at the Belmar location. With Covid, the Town of Belmar was not allowing any vendor groups. Both locations were ideal, there is a large tent for 'tent talk' , relief from the sun, and to store gear. There are plenty of staff and adjacent lifeguards in both locations and Summertime is constantly aware of weather and maritime conditions. Rash guards (yellow or red for Kiki camp) and wetsuits and boards are all available to use on site! Dont hesitate, sign your kids up!

We found Divers Two located down the Jersey shore in beautiful Avon by the Sea. So we decided to take a ride to investigate. Walked in on a sunny cold March Saturday to a very friendly and knowledgeable young woman named Ann. No pressure sale, she asked us about our trip, we needed some snorkeling equipment. She explained all the options, showed us how to test fit masks, explained all the options and price ranges. Didn't make fun of me when I asked silly questions, which I greatly appreciated. I hate when salespeople talk down to you. She was great, took her time, was such a pleasant experience plus I love supporting local businesses! Thank you! I'll be sure to visit again. Highly recommend!
