It is a ranch so it was a bit bumpy but less than expected. We stayed on Saturday night before Valentines Day and the 7D ranch was hosting a Valentines Dinner and Dance. The food hands down best steak! The live local talent exactly what you would expect a hidden gem! This place has it all stocked fishing pond, trail rides, exotic hunts, hog hunts, skeet shooting this list goes on. The best part if this place the staff! Dirty cabins, filthy linens, unprepared venue coordinator, management changed and was not notified, unprofessional, did not open bar for guest until 5:30. It was supposed to open at 4, served hot beer, ran out of ice 30 minutes after bar was open. Paid a substantial amount of money for this service and we were prohibited from bringing in our own service provider. Venue coordinator did NOT honor contract and was disorganized, changed original contract, late, unprepared, rude and has NO business running a venue! This is not even everything! Save yourself the headache and find another venue, until reliable management is hired!

There was a couple having wedding photos, and there was an elderly man taking pictures, and I just really liked how serene it was. Even the surrounding areas are just open fields and it's very beautiful. I'm happy this place is not too long of a drive from Houston to escape the city.

I'm still not familiar with the names of the other types of bait they do have, but I'm sure they got it. It's a lot cheaper than I thought. They sell some fishing items, poles and reels, and some drinks. I totally forgot to take a picture of the prices, but I will the next time I come back. The staff are friendly and helpful. The parking lot is super small, but people go in and out pretty fast. This place could be easy to miss as you're driving down the road. It looks like a small family business raising these live baits so show some support and swing by for your fishing needs.

Came with a group of 10 folks on a Saturday in July for a 4 hour rental. You must come 30 minutes…read morebefore your start time. We had a start time of 11am, so we had to arrive by 10:30a. I think to ensure everything is in order before you leave. Thankfully the weather cooperated that day. When our group arrived, the young gentleman Tyler checked us in. He informed us on site that while we were able to pre pay for the boat rental, we have to pay insurance and gas after we come back from the boat. He walked us through some general tips of the boat and said to call the office if we have any issues. He said he would help us dock when we got back. You must wear the life vest when near the dock area. We had fun, I think it was a 12 passenger boat. Luckily one of our group members was able to take the brief course to be able to drive the boat. He had no experience previously, but did a great job! We had a pretty good time, we added the lily pad and the tubing to our rental as well, which we used and recommend. The boat itself was new which was nice. It had space under the seats for our items. We were able to bring coolers and our own food on board. Overall it was a fun experience. Shout out to a great friend for setting this up!

Perfection Water Sports is where we decided to rent a boat for a day out on the lake. I personally…read morewasn't the booker, but from what I heard, it was an easy process. Everyone on the boat just needs to sign waivers and the persons driving the boat need to watch a couple of boat safety and instructional videos. Lake Conroe is quite a drive from Houston, but getting here and finding the spot was easy. It's just a dirt lot with a shack of an office and a porta potty. Nothing fancy but nothing wrong with that. We showed up 30 minutes before our reservation as requested. Tyler was in charge of our party and he was super friendly and very helpful with getting on board and out on time. Everyone is required to wear a life vest until you hit open water. We rented the 12 passenger pontoon boat which was in very good condition. Our package also included a large lily pad and tube. There's lots of storage under seats which I highly recommend using. We may have overpacked which meant less room to walk around freely. My friend and I shared captaining duties. Driving was a little intimidating at first, but once we got a feel for the power of the motor it was smooth sailing. The map provided to us came in really handy as Lake Conroe is pretty big, bigger than I expected. We made our way to The Island which was a hangout spot for alot of boats and jet skis. We anchored, put out our lily pad and tube and enjoyed the water. The boat does have Bluetooth speakers, but it will run the battery. I would suggest bringing a portable speaker. Time flies when you're having fun, but we made sure we had enough time to drive back while taking turns using the tube. It made for a fun ride back! Overall, a time was had. Never once did I ever think to myself about owning a property on a lake with a boat until now. Thanks to Perfection Water Sports for giving me new goals in life lol. I would totally rent from here again and soon I hope!

Afternoon catfish trip on the second day of spring and captain Ryan did not disappoint. He has a…read morenice pontoon boat that provides a great steady platform to fish from. He also has a Garmin fish finder at the front of the boat where you can actually watch the fish bite. Ryan was on time and we left the dock at 1 pm as scheduled. We arrived at the first spot Ryan had picked less than 10 minutes later and had the first keeper in the boat about a minute after getting our lines in the water. We caught fish at each of the three locations we fished at and were never more than 20 minutes from the marina. We caught over 40 catfish in 4 hours, one hybrid striped bass and a large perch. Great trip, highly recommended.
