This is such a great park for all things! I did some research before coming and found the playground with the zip line is the second entrance into the park. It's also where the workout machines are which is so cool! It's also covered. There are two rentable covered pavilions with a smoker/ grill and sink with water access. There are also smaller covered areas with picnic tables which are first come first served. It has a bathroom which was actually clean and nice inside. This is just one area of the park but there is a huge pond to fish, a large walking trail around the pond on the other side and I've only explored a portion of this park. My kids loved it. This is a solid park and good picnic location for groups. We've been here a couple times now for group picnic events and it's always been a good experience. The pavilions are covered with ample seating, there's a nice playground nearby for the kids, and lots of open grass for games. The bathrooms are pretty clean and close by. There is also ample parking. We visited in mid October and while it was still pretty hot, the shade of the pavilion makes for a nice day out. We were able to play several games in the nearby grassy area - making sure to drink plenty of water! There are a few trees so it isn't totally open but large enough for group games. There's a ditch area further out that's pretty easy to retrieve balls and frisbees from if they go too far. All in all a solid picnic option! read more

So much to do here for all ages. Giant lake with flat paved trail around, bridges, peninsulas with docks, guided tours & museum, playgrounds including zip lines and ample covered patio & tables throughout the colossal grounds, which can be seen by plane from up to 50 miles away (use it as a visual checkpoint often), outdoor calisthenics & body weight equipment, fantastically maintained and beautiful nurtured nature scenery & almost always peaceful and not crowded. And did I mention these r some of the only hills around thus making the best snow sledding this side of town! read more

A park that is HUGE! Basically a giant circle that goes around a large lake with 4 pavilion lots associated with it. The pathway is paved and there's plenty of walking/jogging/running/cycling you can do here for exercise and sunshine. Also playgrounds for the kids and picnic tables if you're looking to do cookouts or want that romantic meal in the sun. And there's fishing here as well. Another park that's not a bust! read more

Such a nice park. Theres lots of things for kids to play with and it's an overall nice environment.

Yes yes awesome area. Went during spring with a special needs group not overly crowded had this great swing zip line. Highly recommend.

I came to this park a couple days ago with some friends for the first time and we were heading out after we finished our run and walk and we noticed a guy in a beat up Mazda, dark blue car honking at people to leave the park. As we proceeded to walk towards our cars, We were right behind everyone else that was leaving.. as soon as we got to the gate, the guy lock the gate, got in his car and left. He saw us at the gate and he just left. He could've at least let us out. But he didn't, and he end up going to the other park to lock it... and after he did that, he drove right past us ... We had to wait for a good 55 minutes for the cops to come open the gate.. the guy was stubborn for no reason.. God sees everything. read more

Very clean and spacious! Different pavilion for parties surrounding a playground. My 2 year old had tons of fun and wants to go back!

I love this park, I would recommend everyone to go there and explore. In every aspect you look at it you will find this park very accommodating and relaxing place. For picnic, cookout, small events, sports, children rides, walking on long trails, fishing, workout, or just simply sit there and read books in a very peaceful environment. I like to go for a walk in this park, in to I saw this. now I am little bit worried I saw this Alligator next to the bridge near the Pavillion 4. When I was walking and there is no warning sign in the area.Worried because, There are children and people who spend fishing on the shores of the lake. What a nice park. My kids really had a great time. The zip-line swing was pretty cool. The park was pretty clean and we liked how open and big this place was. I believe they even had restrooms which was a bonus. We went to walk around and noticed they had pavilion spaces with pits available. My friend said it was first come first served to get one of those spots. We will definitely be back to check out this huge park. read more

Amazing Park love coming here! The atmosphere is great especially in the summer time.

Very cool park for little ones. The playgrounds are really nice and there are two separate ones so if they get bored of one you can drive to the next spot. I've worked outa few times with the body weight machines which are a nice addition, but pretty light. Only fished here once with no luck, but I was fishing in the heat of the day and I'm not the best at picking lures, so make of that what you want read more
