    Doesn't get better than this!

A park that is HUGE! Basically a giant circle that goes around a large lake with 4 pavilion lots associated with it. The pathway is paved and there's plenty of walking/jogging/running/cycling you can do here for exercise and sunshine. Also playgrounds for the kids and picnic tables if you're looking to do cookouts or want that romantic meal in the sun. And there's fishing here as well. Another park that's not a bust!

Picnic area with sink, tables and smoker! (Must reserve ahead)

Plenty of parking, clean restrooms with toilet paper and soap! Plenty of trees to provide shade, clean park and paved walking trails. Benches and picnic tables throughout.

Playground at 2nd entrance to park

Great place to fish, walk, and hang out. It's very clean and has restroom. Kids love the playgrounds.

What a great day me and the family had at John landing park it's so Largely spacious. There is a huge slide in the back entrance you would have to enter off Katy hockley and west rd. It's super quiet the pavilions are rentable for family functions and parties. I love it here

Next to Pavillion 4 Don't left the kids alone

I like to go for a walk in this park, in to I saw this. now I am little bit worried I saw this Alligator next to the bridge near the Pavillion 4. When I was walking and there is no warning sign in the area.Worried because, There are children and people who spend fishing on the shores of the lake. I let them know to the Harris county landscaper people and one Police.

Very clean and spacious! Different pavilion for parties surrounding a playground. My 2 year old had tons of fun and wants to go back!

We visited in mid October and while it was still pretty hot, the shade of the pavilion makes for a nice day out.

My dogs went crazy when they saw the dog beach. I had 2 labs that lived for swimming here. It's awesome when you can catch it in quieter days as it's become quite popular. I still love it as it's a great park for you and your fur babies.

Coming in at a hefty 65-70lbs of questionable coordination, expert intellect, and pure speed, it's been a challenge mentally and physically exhausting my active Border Collie mix. Unfortunately even after his very active dog dad's runs combined with a generous backyard and playdates with his fur friend, he's got more remaining energy in one paw than I have in an entire month. This park is fabulous regardless of if your fur baby is this active, or prefers to relax on a bench undisturbed (although a division for the two play styles is the only thing I'd suggest adding). As others have mentioned, the dog beach, shaded benches, dog runs, trail, doggy showers, and overall cleanliness of the park are impressive. Additionally most dog parents are as trained as their pups, remaining attentive, and polite. Just be sure to watch the water if your pup is overconfident in their swimming abilities.

Huge park!!! Wow! If you need to go for a walk... you can walk for miles around here…read more We came here for a school game which had several teams on the field. The only issue I have with this park is the SAFETY at the bathrooms. Why is men & women bathrooms right next to each other? There is no door to restroom entrances. Who designed this?!? Considering there are all ages on the field. Suspicious people wandering in front of women bathroom. There is security but they are too busy on the field watching games. I'm not quite sure if that's part of their job... I would not leave unsupervised children to go to bathroom. The children I was with reported suspicious behaviors with an unstable man roaming nearly going inside the women's restroom.

The pickleball courts are open play style: That is, they have a rack that you put your paddles in to be randomly assigned to the next game. If you want to play with your friends just put your four paddles together. Water and bathroom are located just outside the courts. It's a lovely community offering AND the courts are illuminated for night games. I stayed with some friends from 7-10PM on a Saturday and there were only two other groups there, so we got plenty of game time. Love having a free spot available to play!
