Also, in my experience they largely operate solely on a show-up, first come, first serve system. Outside of one (1) or two (2) particular services, they don't do appointments or booking ahead of time.

Following my reading of these reviews, I detected a similar observation. Tom's was NOT in the wrong. Frequently, when people have repair needs requiring repair experts attention, the infrequent customer might have no idea of how a repair shop functions. Yes, prices today are high for everything. I have found that Tom's service is impeccable. They have always informed me prior to repair, regarding work needed. My service requests have all been fulfilled to my complete knowledge & satisfaction. Tom's Automotive is my 1st choice in any repair needs!

They put it up on rack and said one was null and void and the other just tighten the screws and recheck in month. Paid $45 to get it checked out. With the prices going up all over the place I think it's not right to try to make money by saying things needed repair when they don't. Some other place told my friend he needed 4 new tires and wiper blades which had already been replaced and same garage told him that he still had more miles on the tires which they could have sold him a set of tires. Doing the right thing by your customers pays off in the long run.

One of their clients had ordered the wrong seating and ordered another. The sales rep was responsive with the price and details of the truck. He texted the price at 10:12 last Friday at $63,720. At 2:46 the price was raised by $5k due to "market demand and nonavailability". (Please see screen shots below) I'm pretty sure the owner is getting a cut from the MSRP and the selling of a "unit" but to add $5k to price within 4 hours because you want more...is unethical. That owner will get theirs. I understand many other dealerships practice this same dirty move to screw people and make an extra buck, but to quote it one way and change it four hours later is unprofessional. Always be wary of your business dealings.
