We have had such a wonderful experience with The Coder School! My 10 year old son and 7 year old…read moredaughter have both been attending weekly after-school coding classes for years, and it has been one of the best educational activities we've enrolled them in. The program does an excellent job of teaching real coding skills while still making it fun and engaging for kids. My son has also participated in their summer coding camps for the past couple of years, and he always looks forward to going back. The instructors are incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and truly know how to connect with children of different ages and skill levels. They foster creativity and confidence, not just technical skills. The owner, Charu, is so kind, accommodating, and genuinely wonderful to work with, which makes the entire experience even better for parents. We also really appreciate that The Coder School partners with local schools and even comes on site to offer after-school Minecraft coding lessons - it show how committed they are to making coding accessible and exciting for kids. I highly recommend The Coder School to any family looking to introduce their children to programming in a supportive, fun, and professional environment. It has been an outstanding experience for both of our kids.

When COVID hit and our "new normal" caused most everything to go virtual, the Coder School was able to transition to the virtual environment seamlessly. Our online coaching sessions via Zoom have been an effective alternative to the in person sessions. My daughter continues to enjoy her classes and her ability to interact with her coach has not been hindered. Because coding is one of her passions, I am pleased that we've been able to keep up with this through this crisis! The school hires wonderful coaches who are great at working with kids. The team there is always open to discussing my daughter's progress and providing feedback. We are so happy to have found this program!

Heard they used to be good. Seems like they've started trying to nickel and dime you over the last…read morecouple years. Extremely disorganized when it comes time to share information about end of year dance recitals and what things will actually cost. I get about a dozen emails a week from them with one snippet of information in each email, which means if I want to actually know what to do for the recital, I need a whole email folder to keep all the info straight. After paying monthly fees all year, recital time came and I had to pay recital fees, costume fees, auditorium reservation fees, and then after all those hundreds of dollars, you only get 1 ticket to actually see your kid dance. So if you have a spouse, other children, grandparents, etc then be ready to drop an extra $20/ticket. For reference, we had to spend about $600 in recital costs for my 4 year old.. excluding dance class costs. None of the fee information is revealed until the week it was due, so it is difficult to plan for and since they change venue and scale every year for their recital, you have no idea what it'll cost when you sign up. The owner Ms Margie seems to play favorites and I've never seen such an angry person working with young children.

Generally a pretty good experience with Coach Harder…read more I got the package where they take you on the driving lesson and then let you use their car for the driving test; I forget how much it ran me, maybe like around 300-400 total. There are cheaper places to get it I think but they covered the chesterfield which worked for me, circa October I would only have two pieces of advice/feedback for Coach Harder: 1. Would be better if the driving teachers left some pad in between lessons so they could do things such as use the bathroom in between students. My driving teacher was in the bathroom for ten minutes of my time during our driving lesson, and then even tried to leave ten minutes early 2. There's very little point in going into detail with student drivers about the points, and getting into the differences between which things get a demerit of one points vs. two points, and all other intricacies about the scoring system. All this does is highlight how familiar you are with the scoring system - the test taker is not going to remember anything about points. Rather than doing that, you should just in plain english be explaining which maneuvers are the most important (eg. complete stop when backing up before turning around, parking on an incline), rather than discussing the point system, something no one is going to remember during the assessment, and more importantly once they are on the road
