The Indonesian plate is a must eat! little bit of everything, mixed together, and so flavorful. The rendang was rich and tender, the mackerel had a great kick, and the satay was perfectly cooked. Even the Spekkoek layered cake dessert was delicious. Coming for dinner on the night of World Pride canal parade, the restaurant was slammed. They found us a table near the kitchen. It understandably took awhile for the food to come out, but the owner was very talkative and friendly as were the other staff. It felt like we were at a family gathering in an intimate setting. Do yourself a favor and get the Rijstrafel, even if you're going solo. It's a gastronomic Dutch Indo experience!

The klein box can fit for bami/rice and meat(coconut chicken/curry beef...) and veggie. I used to get the large one which is a waste for girls. Very rich bami, as Asian I am of course a fan of rice, but I always stay with their bami. Well seasoned with butter and resilient upon bite. Coconut chicken is my favourite, not that sweet and milky than you think. Perfectly mixed with the french beans. Go for what you feel like for the mains, rice or noodle. And the meat is well marinated which some veggie would balance. We can still appreciate the fine Indonesian food by boxes and bags.

Technically masks are not required outside, so if you're inclined to go maskless, this is more convenient. It's a very busy sidewalk during the day, but at night, not so bad. My friends were very satisfied with it too. They are smaller portions (by the sight) but they fill you up in a hurry! It was superlekker. They have a really good selection of vegetarian dishes, so much that you won't feel restricted at all. Spice levels are moderate, so if you're a pepper-head, order some sambal on the side. Do order some of the side dishes; I'm especially fond of the bara and the teloh with salt cod and peanut sauce.
