First, to make this clear: Scott is the owner of Great Scott Party Rental. Love the name btw! Scott, from the onset, replied to my message quickly ( on like a Saturday night). What he didn't know was that I was a little bit in panic mode. The company that I had tried to work with prior to Great Scott, at first told me they had 20 tents available, then... in a blink of an eye, they had only 8 available. But that whole story is for another review. Scott was super friendly, responsive, and easy to work with over the phone. Not only was the whole customer service end of this transaction a dream, but Great Scott EASILY beat all the prices for other 10x10 tents I was looking at with other vendors. And I literally researched 20 different tent vendors in the area. And I'm not exaggerating when I say 20. I'm probably under-exaggerating, it was probably more like 25. Scott was running a summer special with the tents for 40 bucks a piece when I booked. The next cheapest place I found them was like 75 dollars. But it gets even better, part of the proceeds from every tent rental was going to an organization called CASA which advocates for children who've had a rough go at life. But literally to boil this down, Scott is like some sort of Tent Vending Wizard. It was like... oh crap, I forgot to ask Scott this. I would send him an email, and he would respond with either an email or a phone call within 24 hours, most of the time within 2-3 hours. And ya know what his weather policy is, paraphrasing: " We understand that weather happens, don't worry, we won't penalize you". I believe that the deposit you put down can go to a future rental and then you just cancel what you need cancelled. All other tent companies I was looking at, it was like "you pay 50 percent of the total bill", or "we take your first-born", or "you set up tents for us now." Something insane. Not Scott though. I honestly, and this sounds horrible, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. I was like... interactions with a tent vendor can't be this good. I was like thinking to myself, "oh I'm sure he'll be 2 hours late the day of." Or maybe all the tents he sets up are gonna be like brown with mold. Nope. SHOE NEVER DROPPED. Scott was early to the job site AND His tents were super crisp white. I was a little surprised that he didn't bring a staff with him, but after I saw him start working, I was like. He's such a boss, he killed this job so quick. He didn't need a staff. He showed up that night to pick up the tents. With other companies, that's usually a huge additional charge (looking at you Gaithersburg Party Rental). No extra charge. I mean, I'm telling you. I don't think that my experience could have gotten better. It is so bloody nice to work with someone who is customer service oriented, is hard working, has integrity for his work, and is responsible and punctual. Oh, and the cherry on top of this awesome experience cake. I rented some extension cords from Scott. He insisted that he didn't charge to rent extension cords. The day came for our event, and we had a ton of rain, so our order for tents was cut by like 60 percent. So I was like... "Scott, let me pay you for these extension cords. I feel bad, you're coming out to set up like 9 tents when we originally ordered 25." And he was like... "I've never charged anybody for extension cords as long as I have been doing this, and I"m not gonna start today." Beat that, just try to beat that, anyone. This guy is tops. I think there is no doubt, but just in case there was a shadow of doubt: I will be using Great Scott Party Rental for any parties that come up where I need ANYTHING that he has.

The last company that we used for my son's birthday party charged us an outrageous price and came 15 minutes BEFORE the event started. After doing some research I believe IBOUNCE USA has the best prices and services. They delivered the moon bounce, the chairs and tables on time. The tables and chairs were in excellent condition and the Moon bounce was very clean! They had everything set up in time for me to decorate, which was one less thing to stress about. The booking process went very smooth. I will say they respond very quickly and explain the prices and procedures in detail. They're a company that communicates very well to their customers. I highly recommend that you use IBOUNCE USA for your party rental needs. I will definitely use them for our next party.

From the very beginning, Shann was incredibly patient, responsive, and generous with her time. She answered all of my questions promptly and walked me through the different package options, helping me choose the one that best fit our event. Before the party, she even visited the venue in person to plan everything out, which gave us a lot of confidence that everything would run smoothly. On the day of the event, Shann and her team were fantastic. They worked through several thunderstorms, going in and out of the rain without missing a beat. The decorations turned out beautifully, and our guests loved them. The photo booth was definitely one of the biggest attractions of the night! At the end of the event, the team also arrived early to handle the cleanup, which saved us a tremendous amount of time and effort. Shann worked with our budget and gave us a great deal. We had initially estimated around 200 guests, but luckily Shann's experience really showed. After visiting the restaurant and following up on the guest count, she prepared for the venue's full capacity instead. We ended up with a full house, and without her foresight and the hard work of her team, the party wouldn't have been nearly as fun, seamless, or memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend J Double You Events!

I loved the design that Shannon built for a custom backdrop incorporating my favorite color, purple. She and her cohost were lively and engaging with the attendees and everyone had a great time. The vibe they established was perfect. Shannon is always timely with responses and very helpful regarding setting the perfect environment to have a good time. I highly recommend this business.

We had an incredible photo moment (backdrop, custom coroplast board, balloon garland, neon marquee letters) that everyone loved. It made the most amazing backdrop. When I arrived (about 1.25 hours before the party start time), the I in my daughter's name wasn't working though. They had to send someone to bring a new one or bring in a tech. They did that though and it was ready before the party started (but it was down to the minute). That was the only hiccup that I saw (which is great as the host).

Terrible Experience with this company. I was out with my wife celebrating our anniversary this…read moreweekend when we come back to our car in DC and see two Select Event Group trucks blocking our vehicle off of 9th Street in DC near the convention center. One was double parked and we asked politely how long where they going to be there. Just a minute more was said; 30 minutes later I asked the crew boss to move the truck so we could leave and he cursed at us and told us he wouldn't move the trucks. I said it would take only a few seconds to move up so we could go and he told us to get F'd. So I called DC police to help resolve the situation. This did not have to turn out this way, especially for a local company like Select who is in my own backyard. I was surprised by the unprofessional nature and the blight that this has placed on Select Events Group and Marty Ortenzio the CEO. I would go elsewhere for my large corporate events in the future. Truly a shame.
