Moon Co-Op is amazing! The sandwich was fresh and loaded with toppings and the smoothies were delicious!! But the real reason I will be coming back (and telling all my friends to visit) is because of the staff. Tom, the store manager, took the time to talk with us, explain the menu, and was extremely kind. The kitchen staff was so helpful and answered all of our questions!! So happy Oxford has a place like Moon Co-Op!!

Stopped here with my toddler for a smoothie and a plant. I would have purchased more if I had more hands! I saw several vegan options i had not seen anywhere before, so we will definitely be back. Everyone was so lovely, and the space is clean and organized. Bonus points for the restroom having a changing table and women's products. Those little details do not go unnoticed!

If you're looking for the perfect healthy grocery store in oxford that provides vegan, vegetarian, or just healthy foods this is the place for you! It is sort of hidden in the back of a shopping centre, but once you find Moon Co-Op you will be pleasantly surprised. Although the food is a tad bit pricey (but what do you expect from natural organic food?) the variety within this store is vast. There's fresh vegetables, healthy alternatives, a candy station, a houseware/cleaning section, and even bar where fresh smoothies are made. I highly recommend shopping here :)

Complimentary, allergen-free chocolate bar Tom gave to my girls. :)

Good store with a great selection. Kombucha. Sauerkraut. And the owner of the establishment was really kind.

Local and friendly and easy to shop in the smaller very organized space. Love their pastrami and Swiss wrap!

The traffic related to my pic of the Rowdy Roddy Piper soda is a little crazy...so I updated with a pic intended to address post-World Cup concerns. Do you want specialty hot sauce? They have it here! But if you just wanna go grocery shopping for just regular food, maybe go someplace closer and less crowded. Now if you're looking for something Special that is Hard to Find.. again head to Jungle Jim's! As for the prices, they are seriously on par with the Giant Eagle in my area so I wasn't overly impressed with their prices. Now a couple of their closeout items were very well priced! So it would be worth going there for certain closeout items. We specifically went for the International aisles, looking for certain flours made in Europe. We found them and they were a good price. If you live in the area and you want to give your visitors a kick, take them to jungle Jim's! I mean, if you need a map to get through a grocery store, you know it's gonna be something pretty impressive! They have lots of stuff to keep the kids happy and entertained. So I say that this place is definitely worth a visit- it's a cool experience and you're definitely gonna find things that you would not find anywhere else Just don't go there thinking you're gonna get fabulous prices on everything

The woman in charge of the cheese counter is really knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions and pairings. The guys running stock out know their stuff, and can tell you exactly where whatever you need is. Sherry must live upstairs or something because she's manning the self-checkouts 24/7 and keeps everything moving smoothly. The store has decent variety for its size, and the prices are high, but they're high everywhere now, because you idiots vote for rich old men to run the country. The layout of the store is actually great. People complain about it and say "STORES TRY TO TRICK YOU INTO WALKING THROUGH ALL THE AISLES" but that's not really the case. The produce is right when you walk in, then stick to the outside of the store, and you've got your meats, cheeses, dairy, and you're good. People just complain because they moved things around recently and change is hard. Now the bad: Kroger makes it super clear that they do not give a damn about you. Often there are 0 checkout lanes open here. 0 lanes, so you have to check yourself out. Self-checkouts are for people who have just a few items and want the convenience of not waiting. They are NOT a replacement for real people when I have a cart with $200 worth of crap in it. "Thank you, valued customer" my ass. If I was a valued customer, the front-end manager wouldn't be leaning on the counter watching me check myself out. There are some management issues here in general, because every time I have to talk to management (w Prices are high everywhere, yes? But sales are cool, right? Wrong. Kroger Digital Coupons means you're walking through the store, see a 'deal', and then have to screw around on your phone for 2 minutes, working through their app's horrible interface, just to save a couple of bucks. It's not a convenience - it's a pain in the ass. And don't get me started on gas points. People have electric cars now. I do not care about gas points. Stop showing them to me, stop sending me marketing about them, deals about them, coupons for them - I do not care. You are wasting both our time.
