This place is a joke! I booked and paid for a BBL and Lipo 360. I flew from Seattle to Miami, and after the unprofessional preop apt, they text you a different address to go to surgery. I got to Miami Lakes Plastic surgery, the next day at noon. I then had to sit until 5 pm, for the doctors to arrive. The girls working the desk are not any help and answered every question I don't know. 5 minutes before my surgery, the surgeon, not who signed my paperwork, said no BBL. He was doing a tummy tuck instead. I had no time to think about this huge change. This was the end of October. I came back to Seattle and had problems immediately. My incision was splitting open and there was fluid in my stomach. I have been in and out of hospital, almost died from cellulitis, and had to see a plastic surgeon in Seattle, to reopen my whole incision. My wound was not healing and I had tunnels that were under the wound. It is now January 2022, 3 months post op. I have to go to wound care every three days to get the wound cleaned and changed. I also have to carry around a 10 lb wound vacuum, that is helping heal my stomach from inside out. I am so upset that I am dealing with this shit. Moon and everyone are scammers. I paid 5,000.00 before I even got to Florida and didn't get the surgery I paid for!!! They haven't returned my calls or refunded me the difference. This place is not safe! Do not go here!!!!! Had a BBL booked. HORRIBLE communication trying to figure out labs. Cancelled 6 weeks out. Entitled to full refund minus $500 deposit. Jose the director was horrible to deal with and kept dodging emails and calls. I still had my trip booked so went in to talk and he said he could send cheques since a refund through accounting takes 90 days as it states in the cancellation policy. Then he never sent anything. Opened a case with the BBB and then they responded saying I wasn't entitled to $2200. But only $700 because I had two appointments booked. The pre op and the surgery. The cancellation policy states $1000 fee if cancelled the day of or day before. I cancelled 6 weeks prior. So BBB called me and I'm escalating this to the next tier. They owe me $2200 and I'm getting it back. Until then, I'll tell everyone not to go here. They are scammers read more

This company or surgical center I thought was going to be much better than the rest. Then my husband came across some horror stories that warranted him to be concerned about me having surgery. since I cancelled my surgery of course we have not been able to get any correspondence regarding my refund of 5,0000.00 I now have to reach out on all platforms and had to contact the attorney general's office in Miami along with other Legal teams . If you are looking to have surgery with these people PLEASE BE AWARE...... these yelp reviews of all the horror stories are true . I have spoken with others via email and all the stories are the same. I just want my money back and everyone knows it doesn't take 6-9 weeks to return money for services not rendered. I was interested in getting a BBL June 2022. I reached out to Moon plastic surgery had a consultation and paid in full for my surgery. After doing research and not finding enough reviews on the surgeon who was supposed to be performing, Dr.Nees, and the fact that my breastmilk wasn't completely dried up, which could be a medical issue, I ended up asking for a refund which they agreed to. It is now February 2023 I still haven't received a refund and I haven't heard back from staff at all. This place is a complete scam I am so happy I decided to not go through with the surgery because who would trust a place like this with their life. Their return policy states 60 to 90 days, it is way past that and they are completely in breach of contract. Seeing so many people have the same issue is sad, and at this point a legal matter. Muy débil . En el momento q abres los ojos de la Anestecia te suben a una silla de rueda y te sacan a esperar para q vengan por ti al aire libre . Al parecer el doctor nees el q dicen q te va a operar no es el q Opera Una amiga le pregunto sobre mi y el enfermero le dijo doctor nees la está operando y fue mentira porque ella se encontró en el elevador con doctor nees .. WOW WOW WOW!!! I am just arriving home to California from my BBL + Lipo procedure with Dr. Nees. The people at Moon are just absolutely wonderful. If you're traveling from out of town, you will have a very quick, thorough, and organized experience. Jennifer, Jose, (a few others I can't remember, but the nurse, the social media lady, and the lady who goes over the procedures with you ) are all extremely kind and warm people. There are some negative reviews that made me iffy about coming, but now that I've left I can deduce the negative reviews come from people that didn't fulfill a certain part of the bargain, like concealing medical history. I am only days post op but I am absolutely in love with my results, I got way better results than I could have dreamed of. Dr. Nees is a pro and he will cater your procedure to your liking. Again, I'm just so happy with my results and experience. It is true they can be hard to reach by phone sometimes, but they're a small and very busy office. They never left me hanging they always got back to me. Everyone's recovery is different but all I needed were a few days and Tylenol 800 and I've bounced right back. With a bbl pillow or course. This is the worst clinic I have ever been to, they are rude, dirty and unprofessional. I got a Mommy Make Over 2 weeks ago, loved Dr. Ness hated the clinic. Beware once they take your money the table flips immediately. After my surgery had no meds, in pain, I had to drag my self to Walgreens. 24 hrs later in booklet provided it states that they will clean areas but nooo.. got there was treated like garbage and they sent me home all bloody my mom and I again in a lot of pain had to go buy all sorts of stuff to clean and disinfect area. There's only 1 nurse providing care, his name is Luis I seen him go room to room with the same gloves asked him kindly to change gloves since again this is a mayor, hisss answer was he was using hand sanitizer???? nasty!!!! The lady providing the massages said to me the dr is a Dr not a magician when I asked about my belly looking crazy.... They don't speak English are they real nurses nooo..... To really put the cap on the bottle. I was in pain fri, sat, sun finally f/u mon Dr. had an emergency not available, I was sent home in a 10 of pain. They rush patients out the room and even get upset if you aren't able to walk faster stating you aren't sick, beauty hurts... After 10 days post opp and depressed I called another clinic to continue care....not done, my mom had to wait down stairs they don't even have a waiting area this place is a Pigs pen, building is Nasty, same with visitors caring for us they are very rude to them, example my mom was told to wait and was never taken care of. After surgery I was freezing they never called my mom or gave me my blanket I was in so much pain I thought I was going to die. My mom called over and over she was so worried..... this place sucks. The nurse lily and I believe her assistant Samantha are NOT welcoming and Samantha is plain rude. I was so excited and couldn't wait for my surgery. I was open to being on social media and sharing my story. When I came for my pre op the room was silenced and uncomfortable. I tried to talk and they both did not engage.. Julianna the front desk girl was okay she was nicer the more days I came in. They were supposed to call me later that day to tell me my time of surgery.. NO ONE CALLED so the next morning I called and came in an hour after. Surgery went well but as I stayed in Miami for the 10 days my experience with this team wasn't something I would brag about. Costumer service is at a negative 10 for me. I had a painful incision I talked to Samantha about and she simply said "tuffin up" I just went through one of the hardest surgery out (bbl) with NO narcotics. I felt alone and I felt I couldn't even ask for help or advice from this team. I am tuff I just had 2 babies back to back I handle pain well but I knew something was wrong. Well I was correct the incision was not healing properly. Samantha was wrong. I called and expressed this and Samantha told me to send pics and explain. She NEVER replied or has reached out. Obviously she was wrong but couldn't make it right either. Another thing I was concerned about is DO NOT BUY MASSAGE PACKAGES!! It's $400 for 3 massages it comes with socks and foam boards. Well I thought hey awesome package right? No. This lady doing it, massages you for $10 min, is NOT gentle, and talks on the phone the whole time. She even left me Butt naked on the table for like 15 min lol WTH but got upset when I stood up because I knew I shouldn't be on my new butt like that. And doesn't even give a good drainage. My husband drained me way better at the hotel and massaged me getting scared tissue but not hurting me..if done with Care it feel amazing! I'd pay someone else. There's is only one lady that stood out to me. She is this nice short with glasses blonde Cuban lady I totally forgot her name I think yula. But this team needs more attitude like her! She gave me my vitamins through my iv. She talked to me and made me feel better I wish it was her the whole time. So overall my butt is healing great thank you Dr nees . The staff and medical crew are very professional And caring. I had a surgery date booked 6 months in advance. 1 week before I was set to arrive they changed my surgery date. It was $104 to change the flight last minute. I told them since this is your offices clerical error just credit me the $104. The office manager Jose Iglesias said I was trying to get surgery for free?? Mind you the surgery was $7500 and I paid $6500 at that point. He then said its not their fault, there was a plumbing issue and that instead of Dr Torres I can be booked with another doctor... This is obviously a lie bc how are other Drs working with the "plumbing issue"??? Thank god I paid with my credit card. So I did a charge back. They then tried to lie to my bank saying I canceled the surgery so they want to keep $1000 as penalty. I sent my bank screenshots of all the text and emails proving they cancelled my originally date and tried to make a new one with out my permission. Also I was put on hold and the female in the office didnt press mute. Her and other women at the front desk were calling the patients the b word. When I received the credit on my card it was after I paid it off.. That means I had to pay over $200 in fees to return the money to my checking! Awful office. SCAM ALERT from Lack of communication, competence, and numerous horrible reviews. Check them out ladies! It's all on yelp and better business bureau! They cancel many surgeries last minute for non adequate reasons and reasons that can easily be fixed. They charge surgeons last minute and make up excuses for amounts owed after surgery that are already paid in full then claiming your surgery will be canceled if not paid. However you can't even reach your surgery coordinator for weeks! The front desk doesn't even have their patients in their system. Staff turnover is ridiculous therefore finding someone to talk to is lacking. They never call you back regarding your refund or any concerns you may have and you don't even get any welcome package or information about your surgery until a week prior!! They say they will call back and never do unless it's for money. They claim you'll get your refund yet no one has gotten theirs yet after months and months!!! read more
