Although I love my results per my original review at the bottom of this same one, I am reducing the stars to 3/5. I am giving 3/5 stars because of the office staff. I have asked for my medical record and have not received any responses. I contacted the "urgent number" as a last resort and they said they would get back to me. It's been over a month and nothing. I only get responses when booking procedures but when it comes to anything else, nothing. I canceled my other planned surgeries because of kids school timing. I meant to reschedule when I was ready but after this experience, I've cancelled indefinitely with this office and booked elsewhere where it was highly recommended by my former colleagues. It honestly isn't supposed to be this difficult to retrieve your own medical record. I was very disappointed with his services and professionalism. He transferred fat from my stomach to my face, charged 3,700 fat left my face in 3 - 3.5 months, left a huge indentation on my stomach from pulling the fat from it, never fixed it... he kept telling me to give it some time, well time has gone by 1yr. and the indentation is still there. After I confronted him, he stated that he never pulled fat from the area, calling me a liar, his client that spent money on a procedure, he swore would be amazing, but on the contrary, looks horrible now! I will never go to him again, nor will I ever recommend him to anyone!!! Plus he and his office members know I have been complaining about this issue, and no one has ever had the decency to follow up. Now I have to find an excellent plastic surgeon to fix his mistake, and spend more money that I don't have!!!! After extensive research and numerous consultations, I landed in Dr. Castro's office. At the young age of 18, I question plastic surgery but was very self conscious and unhappy with my breasts. They were a size D and sagged down to almost my belly button. Every plastic surgeon's office I went to said I would have scars visible on both sides of my breasts to lift them and would still sag a little, until I met with Dr. Castro. At my consultation, Dr. Castro was very conscious of my age but understood my situation and saw the abnormality of my breast. He proceeded to explain his technique of a lollipop scar which would not be visible unless 100% bare. After seeing before and after (including recovery) pictures of previous patients, my mother and I were sold. I got a reduction and lift. Now, weeks after my surgery, I tear up of joy when looking into a mirror. I have seen the work of other plastic surgeons in South Florida and know that I made the right decision, despite the higher price. It was worth every penny. My breast are the perfect size and proportional to my body. They are perky as if I had implants, which is something I would have never thought possible considering how droopy they were. I consider it to have been an investment since they will be with me forever. I couldn't be happier. Dr. Castro answered every question and concern. His staff is informative and welcoming. His technique requires a bit more recovery time, however, I prefer a few more weeks of caution than a lifetime with visible scars. The procedure changed my body; my torso is now longer making me look thinner and more youthful. I can finally wear a strapless bra or no bra. I could not be happier and more confident than now. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Castro. Even though the procedure may be longer, he leaves you with minimal scars. Unlike other doctors who try to do as many procedures in a day, Dr. Castro does one to maybe two in one day so he can take his time (no rush) on each patient and give them the desired results. I bought a Couptessa coupon for an Obagi Blue Radience peel here and I must say the results and the service are both pretty amazing! My appointment was kinda late in the day (6:30 PM) on a weekday during the Christmas rush (not to mention they're located in the Chase building by Aventura Mall so that traffic was CA-RAZYY!!) I was running late because of traffic but the esthetician was really nice and waited for me. I will say that this is no 5 star elegant spa where you'll get greeted with Veuve, cucumber sandwiches and fresh fruit (the Snickers in the Santa jar were pretty good though:). But the esthetican was thorough in her explanation of the peel and in my skin analysis and recommendation. My skin looks amazing. I had very little redness or irritation. My daily products now absorb very well into my new layer of fresh skin. I will definitely come back for a 2nd or 3rd peel and possibly for more services. I am certainly a fan! read more
