Purchased a couple of mature Olive Trees from this Nursery. Leonard and Bryan helped me out with the purchase and provided a fair deal. The planting crew Justin and Travis were super helpful. These trees were big and heavy. It was white glove service. The hard working team dug by hand making sure not to clip any utilities. They made sure the tree was leveled and double checked if the tree was facing the correct direction. They also made sure it was fertilized and had the proper tree well. Three months later the Landscape specialist Travis Zack came by to make sure all is well with the tree (soil samples, trimming, fertilizer, the whole nine yards). Came here on a Sunday, an hour before closing... last minute searching for some trees for our backyard. Upon arriving at the location, it is easily accessible, large parking area, and plants/trees organized neatly. We walked up to the station and a staff there introduced herself, Kayla, and assisted in showing some plants. I already had recognized her on the website as one of the expert staff that worked there as a planner of projects. As she drove around the lot discussing different types of plants, you can tell she is definitely someone that knew what she was talking about, and more importantly, someone that loves plants. Some places makes you feel lost, some places tries to upsell you on stuff you don't need, but Kayla was a planner, and just like a tour guide, explained which plant may work out well, and in what configuration. After purchasing several trees and plants for the backyard, we were expected to get delivery and planting in about 3 weeks. Delivery team was very professional, called head of time, left voicemail, and took care of the job nicely. Have zero complaint with the delivery team. They came back another few weeks later to deliver the citrus trees due to some sort of regulation in the county, but I was told all about it. Setting the expectations ahead of the project, and being professional throughout the process, made this experience relaxing. Pros : Expert knowledge and guidance from Kayla. She is awesome. Expert delivery and planting. Delivery team top notch. Arrived ahead of time, planted the trees quickly, and left the area clean. Plants and trees look great. Cons : No negatives from the experience. Final notes : There are different levels of cost for the trees. The younger the trees/shorter trees are less costly, and the more full grown can get quite expensive. Since I had some bad experiences of dieing trees, and fruitless trees in the past, I wanted to make sure this time around, the trees are selected and planted correctly, instead of of just putting them into the ground. So if you're a novice at this, and want a nice layout, this is the place to come. If you want to save some money and think you can do it yourself, this place has a ton of selections. 5 Medium sized Trees + Several plants = $3000+ job. Amazing customer service. They'll drive you around which was nice on a hot summer day I bought Italian cypresses here and I didn't realize it at the time that they were way over priced at a 100 percent mark up. So I ended up getting my Italian cypresses at DMK nursery in La puente. So much cheaper and better. They try to get you with their sale tactics saying it's on sale thinking you're getting a really good deal, but you're not. I feel like I wasted my money and was just another consumer played by the system. That's my fault tho, should have been smarter. read more

My wife and I came here to look for Roses or hydrangea and the people working there are awesome. The best thing about this place is how friendly all the workers are. It felt like a family owned company. When my wife is was on the fences about getting roses or hydrangeas a gentlemen talked her through what was needed for each. Example, hydrangeas like sun but only a few hours a day. Roses are usually okay with full sun more than hydrangeas. With this small comment, my wife's made up her mind right away to get roses since where we are planting them will get full sun for at least half a day. Each person (4 people) who came up to us and were extremely friendly and always offered some type of advice. Another example, we used a cart and placed the plant at the end of the cart. One of the workers told us to move the plant to front of the cart to reduce the chances of the plants tipping over. Also they have a yelp check in offer! We got 15% off our total bill. So make sure to check in. One thing i wish was better was the entrance. You will have to make a U-Turn in order to get to the entrance. I wish there was an entrance off lambert that doesn't require a U-turn. But of course this a superficial issue and just my open laziness. The ultimate question is, would I go back to this nursery? Absolutely, their entire team is friendly, knowledgeable, it's local to my area and most of all my wife loves this place (only thing that counts right?) hahaha. read more

McKenzie was great! She helped us select a beautiful Palo Verde Tree and plants to match. Unfortunately, one of the plants we paid for did not arrive on plant day. We waited over a month for that delivery and paid far more than reasonable, but the plants were well groomed and strong. 1 week later we still did not receive the same plant ordered. The replacement plant was small and the wrong color. A message was left and picture describing the error, but 3 days later no response. The odd plant is not doing well, so I will probably request a new one within 30 days for sure! read more

The lot is big, the selection is decent and the location is highly visible so it gets a lot of traffic. I'm just not a fan for a couple of reasons. I went on the weekend and couldn't find anyone to help me. Maybe it was just too busy that day. Also, the prices are high compared to other local nurseries. Their Nandina dwarf was $39.99, but I got it at Ayala's for $12. I also called to see if they carried what I was originally looking for and was told they haven't had it in a while. The man was helpful and said if they were able to order it would probably cost $60. We never talked size. A day later I actually found the same plant at a different local nursery in a 5 gallon size for $15. So, although it seems like a nice enough place it's the prices that will keep me away. read more

Love the staff Jamie was so knowledgeable we were looking to purchase a cherry blossom tree (Plum purple) the tree has red leaves during the fall and during spring the blossom with pink red cherry blossom. She recommended several different types but we decided to buy a tree that was bit more established 5-7 year old. The delivery was going to be about 4 weeks but they had a cancellation for the coming Wednesday; we scheduled it. We received a call the day prior and an email to remind us of the delivery. I also purchased the moon juice to give the tree and plants for extra nutrients. The day of the delivery Christian the planting crew manager called to let us know they were be coming in between 745-9am. They arrived at 742am and they were so kind and helpful. Christian, Joel, Alexis and Prisciliano did an awesome job and they explained how to maintain our tree and how to water properly.
