In addition when our last install fell short due to time constraints, he personally came over to mulch and finish the project by himself. Zac and his crew are absolutely spectacular! They spent the day today at my property planting 3 trees and 5 succulents. I live on a hillside so it is very difficult to get such large plants to the specific areas to plant. They went above and beyond the call of duty and moved a very heavy statue to get one of the trees in a spot I had picked out. Zac is kind, patient, and very professional. All of the men that work with him are friendly and hard working. I have had Moon Valley from the Fillmore area plant many hedges for me a couple of years ago that thrive to this day so I knew that when I went shopping at their Malibu location I would find the same epic choices of plants and professional installation. thank you Moon Valley!!! read more

We needed several trees to fill in our property so we went to Moon Valley Nursery in Fillmore and Zane took us all over the property helping us fine interesting trees that were the right size for our spaces. He spent a great deal of time giving us the education we needed. Coming from NY we didn't have a true grasp on what would be best on our SoCal property. Then Mauricio and his crew came out on the hottest day of the summer and planted everything just to our liking. They were pleasant and fast! We love everything. Wow time and time again Moonvalley is taking my reviews down they are a company that take your money (they still owe me $3960 from not bringing roses! I ordered big roses they sent ground over roses are they joking? I spent over $26,000 on trees and privets ( they sent not the right sizes ) and a tree broke the very day after planting it and they DID NOT even DIG ! I was charged $1900 for them to do it but my contractor did it And $199 for them to get to the job !?!? So many Extra Fees and they just tried to send me a replacement that is half the size too small!!!! Don't waste your time or your money here they will give you a big dance they are a big company that has lost all integrity! Keeping customers money and not delivering! The staff laugh and the owner has strange reviews on his behavior look it up! read more

My neighbor was building a very tall building next to mine and I wanted to create some privacy so I called Moon Valley Nursery in Malibu and I spoke with Arnie, who was super helpful and helped me select these tall hedges to block out my neighbor's view of my garden. He was so friendly and sent me pictures of many hedges so I was able to make my entire order all over the phone. And then their team who installed it was very professional. She was attentive right from my first reach out, knowledgable, and resourceful. An excellent communicator. Ani sourced the exact trees we desired, but also introduced us to many other possibilities. On my first visit all of the staff was busy assisting other customers so I decided to walk around and look at the great selection of plants/trees. I was about to leave when Andres ran up to me and asked if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for and he proceeded to get Nate to help. So glad Andres stopped me from leaving because Nate directed me to the exact 60 inch box oak tree that I was looking for that happened to be in a part of the nursery that I hadn't seen. I left a deposit and when I came back on a subsequent day the manager Arnie was very helpful, just as Nate was in answering all my questions about delivery, planting, and their warranty. On the day of delivery Nixon called me to inform me that he and his crew were about 30 minutes away. Nixon was very personable and his 3 helpers, Santiago, Onesimo, and Evaristo did a great job of not only plating the big oak, but also making sure to clean up the area around the tree. Thank you. I called first to ask about what I could do in certain areas of my house / outdoor areas. Nate was extremely helpful in answering all questions so I committed to the trip. This place is magnificent! The trees, shrubs, plants etc seemed to go on forever. Ani was there when I arrived and followed through with Nate's momentum - she helped me pick out everything that I needed and never tried to tell me that I needed more of something, etc. One suggestion that was made was "you may be trying to fit too much into that space. That they look bunched" - I have never had someone at a nursery tell me that I am purchasing too many of anything! Thank you guys for your help and I can't wait to see the end product. read more

Just had Zack and his crew deliver and plant an area next to my driveway. They were fast, courteous, and went above and beyond with help changing my original plan when I needed to move a couple things due to unseen issues in the ground...(pipes and concrete).... Zack helped me choose a perfect spot for an extra butterfly bush and then planted it for me. Also Arnie was very helpful at the nursery initially helping me decide what to plant. I'd had a different idea in mind but he showed me several options, and I went with something different and better than I'd initially envisioned. Highly recommend from start to finish! read more

We purchased a Meyer lemon tree at Moon Valley. They did the install. By accident, when planting the tree, they broke a sprinkler line. Upon their suggestion, we had the line fixed. We sent them the bill for the repair. They credited our account promptly. Excellent customer service. We will definitely buy our next tree from them. Pacific View Nursery is a wonderful nursery in Malibu owned by a gal named Marta. It's a wholesale nursery opened to the public with tons of drought resistant plants. She's got acres of plants. My favorite are her assortment of succulents and cactus. I spend hours there going up and down each row. read more

I had a amazing experience at Moon Valley Nursery in Malibu! The inventory is incredible, I've never seen a better looking nursery, it felt like I was in Disneyland. I took advantage of the 50% off plus buy 6 trees get 1 free deal including free installation. Arnie the GM then came out to my property to measure and flag out where the trees were going in my front and back yard.
