After finding out about our time wasting appointment with Jason Almanza, a very caring and nice person, Tyler Brand, of Moon Valley, contacted us. Tyler told me Jason was no longer with Moon Valley, and asked if he could meet with us at our home. Tyler was apologetic, kind, and could not have been more helpful. Tyler helped us find the right plants, and gave us nice ideas for our landscape areas. Despite being a very busy and important guy at Moon Valley, Tyler Brand treated my husband and I like we were very important customers, and was always available to us with any question we had. Tyler's team of hard working guys came and planted our new plants, refreshed our landscape areas with new mulch, and made everything look really lovely! Rob and I are very happy with the job they did for us. To make up for our negative experience with Jason, Tyler gave us some free gifts, and tried to make it up to us, which he succeeded in doing. No Customer Service -- Don't Waste Your Money on the Maintenance Plan I purchased five palm trees and two large pots from this company. They planted the palms in the pots themselves and also sold me on their maintenance plan. Now, after all the rain, one of the pots has approximately four inches of standing water above the soil and is not draining properly. I was told they do not put rocks or other drainage material in the bottom of the pots when planting them. Their solution? They told me to stick something through the drainage hole at the bottom of this very large, heavy pot to try to clear it. How exactly am I supposed to do that by myself? What is even more frustrating is that their maintenance plan apparently does not include taking care of the pot or the palm that is now sitting underwater -- even though they planted it. So what exactly am I paying for? Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing their maintenance plan. At this point, I wouldn't recommend buying from them at all. Very disappointing customer service and a lot of money spent for very little support when there is actually a problem. read more

Zack was in charge of the planting crew that came to my mom's house to install the various tree and shrubs that she selected at the nursery. She had a particular design in mind and he made sure she got what she had envisioned. His crew was on time, worked non-stop in the hot sun, and listened politely as she directed them how she wanted everything done. Zack and his team are highly recommended by her for the job they did. Buying experience was good. The rest was poor at best. Trees/shrubs showed up to be installed, day later they came to inspect the work. We were made aware that half of the tree's were diseased and needed treatment. Also then made aware that they WOULD NOT treat them and that was up to myself. Make matters worse they did not do all of the necessary checking with the city of Naples and installed a tree on the city right away. Now they want me to pay to have the tree moved and to pay to have the tree's they delivered replaced. I spend a lot of money to have this professionally done, next time I will buy them at Home Depot and save the money. Never will do business with them again. read more

Buying process was easy, but everything after was not. I went in with pictures of the area I wanted landscaping. No one ever came out to look at the actual site. Jason the designer told me that two days before the install he would come out to look at the flags that his people would put out when they came to remove the old landscaping and amend the soil. No one came out. The day before the install I received an email saying not to move the flags that were placed. I called and they said all will be done in one day. I'm glad I gave them the right measurements because they came in "blind" to put the plants in. After feeling excited to finally have this space professionally finished, when they left I it looked "ok" and definitely not what I expected for the money charged. I have a much larger front project I'm planning on doing but will never you them again. I just felt like it's a money grab. Don't see how this place will stay in business with the lack of follow up once you sign the contract. read more
