Fun shop with much going on. A back room had some craft tables set up. So many fun shopping items to peruse. I visited primarily for a refreshing afternoon drink. I went away from my typical latte and opted to try a Lavendar matcha. The person helping me was excellent, answered my silly questions, and offered great advice. I enjoyed the iced matcha very much. Parking was a bit busy but I found a free spot a block away. Great stop and a fun play to find a unique gift.

I LOVE Moona Moono! What a cute and very cool coffee and gift shop to visit , study, or just to relax! It's bright, airy, with lots and lots of natural lighting. Such a peaceful vibe. The diverse coffee and tea menu offer both the classics to the fancy brews. The pastries to pair with the drinks, are so delectable since they the delightful pastries are from the renown Patisserie 46! Today, I got the Black Sesame Latte with Oat Foam, served hot since it was quite a chilly day and an Almond croissant, which was sooo good, the perfect balance of a flaky exterior with a rich, nutty interior. Heavenly! I also got the opportunity to meet Angie Lee, the founder of Moona Moono! I told her how much I LOVED her shop and how much Minneapolis needed a shop like this. Angie appreciated my feedback and she told me the backstory to the name of the store! The name "Moona Moono" is a rough translation of two Korean words meaning "culture octopus," representing the various "tentacles" or facets of the Asian American experience. How COOL is that? Thank you again, Angie, for bringing this lovely shop to Minneapolis, and I hope it stays a hit for the years to come! LOVE!

What a cute coffee/tea place with a gift shop. The tea was good but really expensive. ($8.50!) Parking can be rough but there are free residential parking options if you don't mind a short walk. They have different events here that look fun. Analog Sunday looks especially fun.

Finally was able to try coffee from the spot after stopping in a few times to donate while they were collecting items to donate to people in need (which automatically gives them five stars based on how wonderful they have been during these tofu times). I grabbed a latte to go to walk my dog around the lake and the location is perfect for this. The staff was so friendly and the shop is adorable. So many local items and little knickknacks you could spend some time wandering around. I really Enjoyed my latte with housemade lavender syrup. There was plenty of seating in the coffee shop itself, and off to the annex. It was busy for a Tuesday midmorning! Street parking is also super easy. Will be back!

LOVE! I am sooo excited this spot came to Uptown - it's a great new staple on Hennepin! SPACE This space is part shop, part cafe with seating options. It's bright, airy, and not super cramped - with lots of natural lighting and a clean, peaceful vibe. This is a quite large space with tons of seating! I was pleasantly surprised by how much seating there was and had no problem getting a table for myself. SHOP I didn't look through the shop a ton, but loved the simplicity and clean displays. Some fun Korean / Asian goods, from ceramic bowls to cookbooks to blind items and Asian packaged snacks. Lots of cute kawaii trending items here! Great for gift shopping. CAFE I love the simple yet curated menu here! I'm a matcha gal so I was thrilled to see their specialty matcha menu. I went for the strawberry matcha. They asked how I wanted it - more strawb, more matcha, or even and I went with more matcha. I'd go more even next time! But the matcha was delicious: clearly fresh, quality, and well prepared. They have some other fun coffee drinks, and local Chiya Chai too!

I talked my mom into bringing me here to grab "coffee" at 5pm, lol. We were both amazed and started looking around at everything but I knew they closed at 6 and I wanted a drink. My mom got the featured Maple Latte and loved it. I got the strawberry matcha. I love that they give you an option for matcha/strawberry ratio. I went even but feel like it was more so on the matcha side. Overall it was a good matcha! I'd definitely like to come back to try more drinks... definitely want to try the black sesame latte! After we got our drinks we started browsing again. My 2 fav things a little treat and shopping! They have so much cute stuff. I love blind boxes but refrained from getting anything this visit. Loved all the Studio Ghibli stuff! I ended up getting a little hot pink tool box from Japan! So cute! Staff were really nice.

What a cool place! The design, layout, and overall vibe of the space are beautiful. I ordered an iced Maple Latte with almond milk (no extra charge for alternative milk!) and a Kimchi Pastry, both were delicious. The Maple Latte came with a thick, vanilla cream foam on top that was delightful. There are plenty of smaller tables, but I really appreciated that there were a couple of larger ones, perfect for our group of five! Not sure if this is standard, but they also let us order food in for lunch while we worked which we really appreciated!

I wasn't impressed, I'd heard so much about their matchas I was expecting so much more. Also super hyped on social media so in person disappointment was real. I got the strawberry matcha and the flavor of matcha was absent 100%, it tasted like water. Clearly was a pitcher matcha but for $10+ I wanted more matcha flavor. Call me crazy. The cafe itself is cute and has a little shop with adorable Asian goodies and products. But sadly Starbucks has better matcha. I'm not a matcha connoisseur but even my friend who often gets it said it was flavorless and sad tasting. Maybe their coffee is better?

I'm so sad. I've never been to this café before it is seriously the cutest gem. Although the line for coffee was abnormally long, I just browsed their large selection of stationary, ceramics, glassware, skin care, and so much more. I ordered a plain old latte but the barista recommended putting their coconut cold foam on top which I'm so glad they did. It was an 11/ 10. The cold foam also lasted for a solid hour.

Open concept and I enjoyed the design of the store. Lots of Korean beauty and home goods, stationary. Ordered bubba tea at their cafe - they also collab with Marc heu for pastry. Trendy and nice. Relax location to hang out with friends. Some of the items seem to be a little over priced. We have seen the same Korean beauty brand at tjmaxx for a lot cheaper.

If you like boba and cute things then this is the place for you. It's also a quiet place to enjoy a snack or catchup with friends. They do have matcha, you betcha! There's so much to look at that it's worth the trip! Parking is a challenge and they only had one counter person at the food station taking orders and preparing them so be patient.

Checked out Moona Moono for the first time yesterday and loved every bit of it! It has such a bright energy when you walk into it. I think one of the owners or managers came around greeting everyone and asking how we were which was so sweet and nice. The service was also quick and there were plenty of options to choose from - matcha, coffee, and lemonade. I enjoyed browsing all the items and got some KBeauty skincare to take home! I'm so glad I have another place to get the sunscreen I use because sometimes it can be hard to get at other places. I will definitely be back and cannot wait to see this cafe thrive in Uptown!

I always love good coffee, and Moona Moono hits the spot! They have a small menu with some neat flavors that offer a good balance of savory and sweet. The place was very busy when I went around noon on Saturday. With somewhat limited seating, my friend and I couldn't snag a table, however that gave us an excuse to peruse their stationary and other items while we enjoyed our drinks. A very cool space that I would love to return to!

So when I passed the sign here that said "Warm Scones, Great Chai", I knew I had to try it! It's located kitty-corner from Isles Bun & Coffee, so you can always pick up more pastries from there after if you're not feeling like having a scone. We were the first customers of the day, and the gentleman that opened the door for us was very friendly. I think the interior was very cute, it was very cozy and has a homey vibe, but with seating that looked like it was from a Marie Calendars or Bakers Square. It was super quiet in there, no background music. I was kind of afraid to talk and felt like I should whisper like I was in a library. I got the Uncommon Chai and a chai scone. While the scone was ok, the chai was underwhelming. It just tasted like hot milk with a sprinkle of chai flavors somewhere in there. I could barely taste any cardamom, cinnamon or clove as is common in chai. I would say this is probably a MN interpretation of chai, definitely not authentic. Kind of like my family's former Chinese restaurant in southern MN. Not authentic, but rather a Midwest version of Chinese food. The cafe is in an old house, so this place is not wheelchair accessible from what I could see.

I know firsthand that coffee is king in Panama, so I figured anything inspired by their incredible coffee culture had to be worth trying. I visited Curioso on an early Sunday morning and immediately found it special. Not just for its coffee, but for the ambiance, service, and overall vibe. Curioso is a large, welcoming space that's part coffee bar, part brewery. I was immediately impressed by the variety of entertainment for all ages: arcade games, pool tables, dart boards, a skee-ball machine, board games, and even claw machines. Seating options are abundant, from cozy couches to tables and high-tops. There's a toddler play area and a library filled with books for all ages. The space feels family-friendly and is warm, welcoming community gathering space for all. I noticed flyers for free community events Curioso hosts, like Sunday Morning Yoga and Tuesday Trivia nights. The service was equally warm! The barista, although managing a busy Sunday morning solo, took her time to explain coffee options, highlight weekly specials with her own recommendations, and describe the pastries in partnership with Fruit & Grain and Bagels from St. Paul Bagelry. Oat milk is the standard for all their drinks! (Which I loved) We tried two speciality lattes: the "Butter Luck Next Year" (iced) and the "Blue Ribbon Peach Pie" (hot). Both were exceptional! Strong, robust, and delicious. Alongside, we also enjoyed an "Everything" handpie and a "Blueberry Lemon Curd" pop tart. Both pastries were out of this world delicious! I loooooved this pairing. I'm a sucker for savory, so the "Everything" handpie reigned supreme for me. Although I don't have a fur-baby (yet), I would like to include that Curioso is fur-friendly. I'm looking forward to returning several more times!

I ordered one of their seasonal specials--the banana cream pie latte. It was very good. The ambiance was OK. Smaller seating area and located in a strip mall. Although my drink was good it wasn't necessarily something to write home about. I might come here again if in the area and in need of a coffee, but probably not a place I will necessarily seek out.

I think Caffetto kind of corners a market that no one else has by being open so late--most coffee shops are barely open past noon, and they're open until midnight! I've personally spent many a late night there finishing up work--it's a really cozy atmosphere, and the selection of pinball machines in the basement are the perfect study break activity. The staff are all great and even when there's a line, they get through it quick and are still able to offer great recommendations--while I usually prefer an iced green tea with no ice, I've tried the lattes, cold press, Thai coffee, and hot chocolate and have genuinely never had a bad drink here.
