I absolutely love Vietnamese coffee, and GIOT's is one of my favorites. I went to the Dinkytown location a while ago and was excited to know the new location is closer to me! This time I tried the Vietnamese cheesy caramel coffee and the Ube Matcha. Everything was incredible and had lots of flavor. There's a ton of the cheesy caramel and ube cold foam in each respective drink. It's not overly sweet but just right. My toddler got the Blueberry lemonade refresher which was amazing too! The croffles are so unique and tasty too. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I got the ube and the biscoff croffle. The biscoff is definitely my fav! Mine weren't too difficult to cut with their plastic fork and knives. I wish the napkins were a bit bigger but that isn't too big of a deal. They have a GIOT sign on the inside and the seating looks modern and clean. Yes, parking is limited so plan ahead - get there early! I went on a weekday in the morning and found parking in the back lot. I also ordered from my car in the lot online and by the time I went inside and sat down, everything was ready! They were really quick. I didn't even have to wait 5 mins. Quick service, delicious and beautiful food and drink - what's not to love?! read more

When we first arrived at Giot on a Sunday, the place was super busy! We managed to snag a table, then ordered online since the line to order was to the door. The place was bright and welcoming. We ordered a matcha strawberry croffle, a tiramisu croffle, a pistachio Vietnamese coffee, and an ube matcha. The croffles and drinks were ready pretty quickly. I loved it all! Love this place! If I lived closer I'd come all the time! The egg cream coffee was delicious and the croffles were yummy and very pretty. Customer service was good and the place is clean with ample seating for its size. However there is limited parking and it's near a busy intersection so I can see how that might be an issue on weekends. We went on a weekday and had no trouble. Pretty fast service considering there was a long line. There's limited parking at the back of the store, but you can always find street parking. They have the best Vietnamese coffee in the city, and my fav is definitely the Egg Coffee. Every menu item looks really good and I want to try them all! Their latte series (Ube Egg latte) are definitely on the sweeter side, and if you want something subtle and more matcha-y flavor, I'd recommend their earl grey matcha. Everything was light with great flavor. Coconut matcha 25% sweetness was the perfect sweetness, with the right amount of matcha flavor and shredded toasted coconut. Strawberry matcha croffle was crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The cream was very light with a little sweetness, fresh strawberries gave it a juicy refreshing bite that went well with the strong matcha powder. Biscoff croffle was not overly sweet or rich. I would definitely go back and get everything again. I loved that the croffles are the perfect size for a nice dessert that satisfied your sweet tooth but doesn't weigh you down after. read more

This is easily one of the best coffee spots in Minnesota. Ordering is simple since you place your order at the kiosk or online ahead of time, and every time I've been the drinks have come out really quickly. My favorites are the ube coffee and the pistachio crunch Vietnamese coffee. Both are so good. The coffee itself is strong and the drinks are beautifully made. Definitely one of those places where the presentation makes you want to take a photo before you even take a sip. Parking can be a little tricky since there aren't many spots nearby. Seating is also pretty limited, so it's more of a grab-your-drink-and-go type of place. The staff is always super friendly and the drinks are consistently great. I was excited to check out this new Vietnamese coffee shop in Richfield, Giot, and overall I really enjoyed the drinks. They offer a great variety of coffees and specialty beverages. My favorite was the white coffee pistachio drink--it was delicious, and I appreciated that I could lower the sweetness level and add an extra shot of espresso to customize it. It also came with a waffle on the side, which was such a fun and tasty bonus. The coffee itself was excellent and the service was efficient. That said, the space inside is pretty small with limited seating. When I visited, the table I sat at had crumbs and didn't seem fully cleaned, which took away a bit from the experience. Because of the layout and seating availability, this feels more like a place that's ideal for ordering ahead and taking your drink to go rather than settling in to stay awhile. One of the best coffee shops in Minnesota. You order at the kiosk ( or place your order online ). We didn't have to wait too long for our drinks but there was a longer wait for our croffles. Although we didn't mind because it's worth the wait. My favorites are the marshmallow Vietnamese iced coffee, the tiramisu viet coffee and the pistachio crunch viet coffee. Their coffee is strong and the execution is so beautiful I always have to take a picture. My ultimate favorite croffle is the matcha strawberry and I've been slowly trying others but haven't found another that I'm obsessed with.. yet. I would visit Giot when I could in dinkytown but because they were only open on the weekends it was hard to visit often and try new things off the menu. Now with this location in Richfield that is open 7 days a week we can visit more often. I am so proud of their growth! read more

I had checked out their Dinkytown pop-up a few times and know they made a delicious cup of iced coffee! I was excited to check out their brick and mortar! The parking situation is tough, because it's a busy spot and the lot out front doesn't have many spots. We had to find a spot around the building. The space is minimally decorated, but it is bright and light! We did have to wait about 20 minutes to get our order on a busy Saturday morning, which seemed a little excessive. Hoping that they figure out their systems as they grow into their popularity. The drinks are spectacular though! Fun flavors, creamy foam, and lovely coffee. I tried Giot months ago in Dinkytown. I was so excited to see they were opening another location closer to me (Richfield). Hardly any interaction with the staff as you order on a kiosk or mobile. They only have 1 kiosk and the menu is decent sized with customizable options like milk, sweetness, additions, etc. I ordered the Banoffee Matcha (default is almond milk) didn't adjust the sweetness because I kind of assumed it would be sweet with the toppings. I will definitely add sweetness next time. I love the creativity of the drinks so I definitely want to go back and explore more, also try a croffle. This location is TIGHT on parking in the front. I wouldn't be surprised if they start designating spots to each business down the line. Consistently busy - but adequate seating for the size & logistics of the shop. LOVE GIOT! Their matcha and croffles are top tier. Tiramisu is my personal favorite! Workers are efficient and friendly as always. There are 4 tables and bench seats. Decent spot for studying, but bring headphones because it can get loud and lively in there. Parking is limited, but more spots are available in the back of the store. Great spot for Vietnamese coffee, as well as other unique drinks and croffles. We got the ube and pistachio Vietnamese coffees, which came with croffle. Loved the ube, cheese foam, and strong coffee. Croffle was flaky and had the right amount of sweetness. At times, Giot can get busy but we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks. Only downside is that they charge $0.50 for less ice. The parking lot is small and has some reserved spots, we were still able to park in the lot. I look forward to returning and trying more drinks! read more

YUMd: - brown sugar marshmallow matcha. i love that they use almond milk and don't upcharge to sub. the bsm flavor was only in the cold foam, which was YUM! the texture was like a thick whip. I was a little sad tho bc i thought the bsm flavor was going to be more in the matcha. the matcha was ok. i want to come back to try one with oatmilk. service, etc. i've tried coming here a few times to work, but it's always been too busy to get one of the 4 tables they have. not to mention the parking is terrible in this strip with limited spaces and always being full. so i came back just to get a matcha to go and parked a few blocks down. i got here around 12:30 on a saturday and it was PACKED (good for them!). i ordered online before walking over and got a text when my order was ready. i wish they'd announced my order like they did with everyone elses or at least have a designated online pick-up space on one of the counters where they were placing drinks bc it definitely got lost with everything. read more

I am back again to try more drinks! My first experience was great. The drinks were delicious, so I had to make my way back to try another drink and this one by far is my favorite. I ordered the Pistachio White Coffee and this one is definitely the best so far from this coffee shop. It is creamy and flavorful. You get katafi and pistachio bits. This coffee cafe is a must every time in Richfield area. I once visited their pop up in Minneapolis and was excited to hear about their own store. Located off a busy street, they share a small parking lot with other businesses so it might be a challenge getting a spot unless you don't mind walking. Inside the cafe is nice and bright, lots of seating area along the side. I didn't know what to choose, the barista gave me suggestions to order and they were delicious! 10/10. I know most people would say 7$ for a matcha is quite expensive but nowadays if you want alternative milk, salted cream, or any extra flavoring it would go up to 9-10$. I think this place is fairly priced compared to other shops that focus on lattes & matches. They also don't charge extra for alternative milk which I LOVE! People shouldn't have to pay a dollar extra for alternative milk! Their hours & seating aren't the greatest but the quality and prices of the drinks make up for it.
