I loved a candle the had called summer slices, apparently a watermelon base scent! The have lovely wooden bowls filled with candles, a bath tub in the front full of bath bombs & simply a breathing array of bath and beauty products. The store is bright and freshly decorated and just a lovely shop to step into. I snagged a bath bomb and now wish I had bought more! The lady behind the counter was wonderful as well! I even dragged John in later to have him smell some items.

Have to say, a lot of it seems very familiar and I am always impressed on how much they can get in there and how it is organized/decorated. A lot of care goes into it. I don't really recommend it for strollers/those with mobility issues/small children as the aisle spaces can be narrow and much in reach to accidentally be bumped. The rooms just keep on going and take up even more of the plaza than I remember! Most all of the items seem like they are of really good quality. I would say in general things are a bit pricey for Jamestown, but there are various price points and many things to buy in various price ranges. As per the name, most items have a more rustic/country/antiqued look to them. This isn't really my mom or my decorating style, but we still found items that we liked. They carry everything from curtains, lamps, wall art, pillows, quilts, decorative containers, candles, ornaments and more for home decor. There was also a large Vera Bradley section, as well as some other bags and accessories with a bit of a vintage/historical flair. If you are driving through the area, it is a neat place to check out that carries a lot of different things that you won't find at the big box stores.

After looking online I finally located Pure Integrity Soy Candles and made a large purchase of 8 - 16 oz candles. I am so happy I found this company, their candles are amazing. These candles are slow burning and last a long time, I have had nearly half a year since my purchase and I still have 5 candles jars unopened. I burn a candle 3x a week for an hour or so, sometimes more days, sometimes longer burn. I tend not to burn the candles for too long because their fragrance is strong enough to fill my house with these shorter burn times. Their candle scents and the cleaner burning soy do not trigger migraines (cheap candles can). I love all the scents I purchased: Lavender, Rose, Lemongrass & Clary Sage, Lily of the Valley, Lilac, Lemon Drop, and Gardenia. When I received my order, I received 2 sample tealite samples of their Honeysuckle Pear candles - which I loved. I love the fact that their candles smell like you think they should. Lastly, the 16 oz jar candles come in an attractive glass frosted jar with a wood lid that can be reattached with ease and securely stay on. Once I finish using a candle, I clean the jar and reuse e.g. small apothecary jars. Lastly, the staff takes pride in their candles - when they shipped them to me (across country - I live in Nevada) they carefully wrapped the candles (not one broke in transit). Moreover, they took the time to write a note of care and concern in a time that COVID is ruining our social ties and way of life. As long as Pure Integrity Soy Candles remains open, I will be making my yearly candle purchase from them - their candles are high quality.

Perhaps some of the reviews are a little on the fake side but I do think it's cool and it's locally-owned, and I appreciate that so even though they're expensive, if you're into candles I think you're much better off buying them here than at Yankee Candle.
