My classes met with approval, but seeing the inner workings of the business, it felt like anything but a safe and calming space. This all happens behind the peaceful shivasana (relaxation) and neck massages. I rarely write this sort of review, but seeing the tense, inner atmosphere of the organization, versus the calm, accepting facade, is just unacceptabe. The classes and instructors are good, and the training is solid. There is a falsity about this place that turned me off yoga once I saw through the facade. Sorry, but this was my experience. I hope to get back into yoga sometime soon, at a different place, for sure.

I love the variety of yoga classes offered at the studio- from rest restorative classes to more active workout yoga classes. I love that they offer different services right at the studio to support you throughout your pregnancy too, such as pelvic floor physiotherapy and prenatal massages. The studio itself is beautiful and they have a friendly community. All the instructors thoughtfully plan out their classes and I am impressed every time. I would recommend this studio to anyone looking for a calm and welcoming yoga space that offers a wide variety of classes to try out.

It is hard to find a time where the table doesn't have a lineup which is expected. There's a lot of administration staff on site and there is a snack in a smoothie bar inside as well. In the summer months and after New Year's, you may see more teenagers hanging out there which can become a distraction to your workout as some do just chat and sit around machines. I've been going to different GoodLife gyms since 2012 and this one is by far my favorite…read more It has two floors with ample space and equipment. Since this location came out a few years ago, all their equipment are fairly new. They even have a automatic scanning turnstile door since this gym is 24/7 and staff is not on standby later at night. They have a clean and big space for their change rooms. Their group fitness class and biking rooms are slightly smaller than a few other gyms I've been to. I recently started getting back into Hot Yoga which unfortunately does not come with your regular membership; it costs +10/biweekly which is fair to say if you go constantly. The Hot Yoga studio fits about 15-17 people and they have heated vents from the top. It's a great and 100% sweaty workout that lasts for 1 hour. Before COVID; you would be able to walk in but now, they do require you to use the app to book prior. However, it is a very easy and simple app to use. Staff here have been great and friendly whether on the phone or in person in regards to questions and account set up.

The upstairs cardio area fits a lot while still leaving space for people to move around. Hot Yoga studio, Group Fitness studio, PEAK studio and even one of those Mind Den rooms are all packed into this Longo's corner gym. It's not fully staffed during late hours but that's why there's a turnstile - be mindful of the shower & sauna hours because those to are only during staffed hours. Staff is friendly and there were plenty around for 1pm. Cleanliness is also top notch but I'll attribute that partly to it being a newer location. I'll be dropping in whenever I'm in the area to see if these positives remain. Enjoy your workout everyone!

We felt so welcomed and I can tell the staffs are so proud of their studio and she even tell us to come back for another complimentary class as a first timer even after we used our passport this time! The waiting area though small but very intimate... and nicely decorated. Hot Yoga Aurora though small in size.. only 1 practice room.. but not small in amenities! The best equipped studio I been too: - 2 showers, 2 hairdryers - shampoos, conditioners, shower gel, body lotions - hair gel, hairspray, hair clips, hair ties - even tampons! :) - little lockers with keys for your valuables - cold filtered water to fill up your water bottles - hot water if you want to make a cup of tea with their tea bags - mats if you need one - cut up mats in the class as cushions for your knees They also has hot pilates classes using Pilate balls... that must be a great core strengthening class! I would have give this place more star but I was a little disappointed with my instructor.. she seemed to be a little unorganized and since it is only a 75 min class, she did not really have a lesson plan so we did not work on inversions and did not really stretch before the end of class because we ran out of time! After the balancing poses, she suddenly said time for Savasana?? I will be back for another class and hopefully I will have a different yoga practice experience as I think it is definitely an important aspect to rate a yoga studio!

Everything that a Yoga studio should be!…read more I absolutely LOVED my experience here. This studio is a small location set in a cute little plaza in Aurora. When you first walk in, shoes are lined up trustingly in the front hall, making you feel like you have arrived home. The lady at the front desk told me a little bit about what the studio offers and then told me unfortunately I could not meet the owner- as she was in India to continue her learning from yoga experts. Well, I was pretty sold on their qualifications after that. On to the tour: The interior is so quaint and cozy you cant help but feel anything but relaxed and welcome. The change room is small but well set up, with folding partitions, and a separate bathroom and shower room. All the bells and whistles a woman might need are available- from tampons to lotion to hairspray. Outside the change room there are FREE(!!) lockers, where you can leave your valuables and take a key. Easy to remember which locker you used too- as each one is identified with an enlightening label such as "dream" or "believe". There are cold and warm water dispensers, and even various teas to try (I must admit, the tea option really excited me). There are three studios here, one for hot classes, and the others for general classes. The class: I did not actually take a hot yoga class, but instead opted for the Power Pilates with Weights. The room was small, could fit about 10-12 people. The class itself was awesome, definitely a great work out and the instructor was fairly good at providing options for beginners to advanced. What really sets this place apart is the sense of camaraderie here. Everyone seems to know each other and are laughing and joking in the halls, and chatting softly before classes begin. As a new student everyone was so helpful and welcoming, I really couldn't believe it. Nothing like the cold -no eye contact, earphones in at all times- gyms that I'm used to.

It's located on the second floor of the building and once you up the stairs you turn left for the reformer pilates, I believe there's other rooms for other classes on the right. I was greeted by the reception and had to sign a waiver form. You also have to wear pilates socks at this location during your exercises but if you don't have any, they have some for purchase at their studio. Once you walk into the room/ class you're expected to leave all your belongings like purses, wallets and phones at their cubbies since it's a no phone zone when the class is in session. Since I picked an introductory class, the instructor talked us through how to use the reformers and what to expect. During the class, I thought it'd be more useful if the instructor actually showed us how to do certain moves herself so we had a visual, rather than just talking us through the steps. As beginners, it would've been a lot more helpful. Knowing that this was a introductory class, I didn't expect to be sweating and be super sore the next day - which I wasn't. But I definitely felt some muscles being activated that I don't usually target. Overall, it was a great experience and I went back a couple more times after that. Take the introductory class as it really helped with understanding how to use the reformer and how the movements should feel.
