This thief insisted that my wife sign over the insurance Ck for damages incurred to the sunroof in our classic Pontiac, we agreed, due to the fact he was quite frankly the only guy in NY, to handles replacement of a factory sunroof, which had flew out of the car on the highway, 48 year old car, our classic car insurance covered the repair, and sent this POS the check in February of this year, when we contacted him, he was tight for space, wound up accepting the car April 9 th, said the car would be ready in 2 weeks, the estimate for the car, detailed replacement of the entire sunroof panel, cables and mechanism, well the night carried on , this part wasn't correct, he had to replace a bracket, the motor was not correct, every excuse under the sun, asking me not to call him, he will call us, 2 weeks, turned into 2 1/2 months, finally get a call June 18 th that the car was ready, but he closes early on Saturday, I asked him to leave the car somewhere, my wife would drive me out after 1 pm, he then told me, we owed him an additional 385.00 for parts that weren't covered by the insurance company, I told him there wasn't going to be a dime paid, beyond what he stole from them already by me, I then called my insurance company, explaining the issue, they called him, with me on the line, and told him to send them a subliment estimate, he refused saying he wanted cash!
