We received another confirmation email prior to our arrival that made it clear early check-in before 3 could not be accommodated so we were careful to arrive between the check-in hours of 3-9 PM. Check-in was easy and the room was very well appointed with everything we needed. We've stayed in everything from 5-star hotels in Europe and Indonesia to very cheap motels in small towns. This hotel competes with some of the better places we have stayed. The hotel is has been renovated by the owners and matches the cute quaint vibe of the city itself, Crystal River. It is also within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the water / boat ramps which we loved. The room came with a bottle of wine and some sweet treats which we really appreciated. Especially once we learned that getting a spot for dinner on Valentines Day in the small town was pretty much impossible. Because of this we opted to get carry out, open our wine, and enjoy the dessert left in the room. As others mentioned the room was spotless, we found the decor to be current and fresh, the bathroom was stunning, and the AC and refrigerator were perfect. We will return at the next possible time and highly, highly recommend.

Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and you can tell they wanted guests to feel comfortable and pampered. Heated toilet seats? Yep! A huge spa-like shower with an oversized rain shower head? Absolutely. The beds were so comfortable that getting out of them every morning was a challenge. The private boat ramp and direct access to the Homosassa River were complete game changers. We visited during the Fourth of July weekend and opening week of scalloping season, so being able to walk out the front door, hop on our boat from the private dock, and head sstraight onto the water was incredibly convenient. After experiencing that, I honestly can't imagine staying anywhere else. As an added bonus, we had front-row seats to an incredible Fourth of July fireworks show right from our front porch. It was the perfect ending to each day. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable vacation. We can't wait to come back!

There are 18 units that are efficiencies. They are kept very well and have a kitchen and lovely bathroom. Everything is provided for you. There is a spring fed pool that you can swim in. The property is adjacent to the water, so you can fish or sit outside and enjoy the view. The motel is located just a few blocks from downtown and there are restaurants, gift and coffee shops. There are trails and water near by and Dave took his electric bike all over today. What a great place to visit and relax for a few days! They even let us park Pandy right across from our room! While there was not many guests, reception, continental breakfast and housekeeping were all handled well. The room is akin to a basic hotel room, no frills but comfortable and there is a mini fridge. It was comfortable. My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower. My favorite feature is the manatee water fountain at the front of the property. Even if you choose to stay elsewhere, stop by to check out the fountain.

When we first arrived we experienced issues with the door code to get into the room. One of the…read moreladies tried and couldn't get it so they had to reset and send us a new code. We had left for the evening and when we returned the new code did not work the front door. After a few minutes we tried the old code which let us in the front door and the new code to the room. We were advised our room was upgraded due to construction in the room, no one ever mentioned the construction downstairs beside our room beginning at 9 am on Sat and 8:45 am on Sunday. Then Sat came back to the room to take a nap and no there was no nap due to non stop construction up to almost 7 pm. It would have been nice to have been told about the construction and all day noise. We took the weekend as a nice and quiet get away. Very disappointed in the accommodations with construction. I would have left on Sunday but the reservation was through Monday.
