The team at Moore County Living has been exceptional to work with. They do work for the individual homeowner but they care about their tenants and try hard to advocate for things that are needed. Sometimes they are successful but there are times when the owner says no and that is no fault of the MCL Team. We were so pleased with MCL and always felt they had our best interest at heart. Often times we would fix the little things ourselves as we wanted to be great tenants and that went a long way. As a bonus, MCL and our owners gave us a nice Christmas basket this past Christmas. I rented a home in Moore County from Moore County Living in 2016. I was in a situation where I needed a rental stat. Not only did Amy and her staff help me, but they were compassionate about my situation. Amy, Jaime, Wayne, everyone that I had contact with at MCL, was always so helpful and quick in responding to my questions and concerns (the AC needed repair) during my 1 year of renting. They were so nice and kind in fact, I decided to stay another year until I found a home to purchase. During my second year, I was traveling constantly with work. I recall Jaime offering to have someone from MCL check on the property while I was deployed to ensure it's safe keeping. I rented my unit long distance - but Amy and her team did not want me to sign the lease without seeing the unit, so Stewart took a video of it, walking through, and explaining it to me. There were no surprises when I moved in. Each maintenance request has been dealt with quickly, and courteously. I even have the maintenance team's contact information, so if there are issues, I can call directly. More importantly, Amy's team (specifically Jaime) worked beyond the call of duty on my behalf so I could adopt a gorgeous rescue pup named Ember, convincing the owners, who were concerned about the consequences of allowing the dog in the unit, to let me bring her home. I transitioned one of my homes to a rental property that Amy's company manages and the property management side of her company is just as great as the real estate side. I rented from MCL for 2.5 years and Amy and her team were awesome. Anything we needed, she handled it personally herself or made sure one of her team members did it she wasn't available. The owners were military and resided in another state. One incident in particular was the heat went out one evening, after hours. Amy and her husband brought over enough heaters to warm a two story house until they could get the repair guys out. I have read the reviews but my experience has been different. If you are respectful to the team, to the owners who approved you to lease and took care of the house you are renting, you shouldn't have any issues. It is obvious that these tenants weren't so respectful and angry with themselves or the decision of the owner of their rental. As a homeowner, I am thankful for the fact that this team takes the heat for me to protect my investment. These tenants can't review us, only the management company that works on our behalf.
