I found Great Basin Nutrition by simply Googling Metabolic Rate tests in my area. I was shocked to see there weren't many options, if any other than Great Basin in the Reno/Sparks/Carson area. Other locations like Sacramento had a few to choose from but they also cost a LOT more than what Jodi Pettersen charges at Great Basin. It was easy to make an appointment with Jodi, but you need to be flexible on dates since she isn't in her office too often and that's where this fancy calorie machine is. She was very kind and knowledgeable and even though I only paid for the Metabolic Rate test and not a nutritional consultation, she still took the time to talk to me about good calories and what my daily calorie goal needs to be based on my test results. Though you don't need to get this test done regularly, I plan to retake it after I lose my goal weight to see if my calorie/energy output changes.

If you enter into a 3-month contract, you are paying for those specific months; you are not buying 3-months of services that you can move around. I had some personal issues that resulted in the need to work around the contract and while Channell worked with me to try and accommodate my needs, at the end of the day, I paid for a month of services that I did not receive which is disappointing.
