I recently finished a structural integration series with Julie and was very excited after she received her certification as it's something I've always wanted to try. Acupuncture, chiropractic, physical therapy and massage therapy have only given me temporary relief. I've even had several injections (epidurals, blocks, etc) with no results. After the first few sessions of our SI series, there was a noticeable difference in not only my pain, but in my life. I was sitting/standing more upright, I was breathing easier, sleeping better, I wasn't in such a fog from pain, I was interested again in social life after work, etc.. it was a revelation. As simple as it sounds, she studies how you walk and can see exactly what needs to be worked on, not just in the massage studio, but for you to work on yourself. My job is very demanding physically, where I'm on my feet in a workshop full-time and by no means does this help with chronic pain, but having someone you can trust to assist your healing is incredible. She's very accommodating, quick to respond and can sometimes get you in, in a pinch (literally). Always a pleasure to be around, I'll continue to see Julie for years to come!

I have been seeing a wonderful cranial sacral practitioner (Patty Gilbertson of Body Balancing) for the last 5 years but she can only straighten me out then my fascia and muscles seem to pull me back out of alignment. If you're a massage lover, you've probably had the experience where you're halfway through a massage and think "I cant believe I'm spending a hundred bucks for this". But no more! Amy offers very attractive prices.. But most importantly.. she is frickin AWESOME! I've had about 8 massages from her, and I am forever hers! I love that she uses hot stones (without it being an "extra")... and wipes some essential mint oil on the underside of the head rest. She obviously has been well trained, but her gift - in my opinion - is something that goes beyond learned technique. Amy has knowing hands. They read my body... lingering on those areas that need extra work. Her application of pressure is always spot on (I like deep pressure). She has a healing gift like nothing I've experienced (and I've experienced a lot of massages.. all over the world.. at all kinds of price points). She was just back from a long trip through Southeast Asia where a good 90 minute massage cost maybe $10. My daughter had probably 20 massages during her travels and - like me - had serious pushback on paying 7+ times that for a massage state side. After coming back from Amy, she told me "dad, that was the best massage I've ever had". Those were my words exactly after my first massage from Amy back in January. I plan to sign up for her package deal, and see her twice a month from this point forward.
