Didn't bother installing it myself because the support from NavTool is notoriously minimal. Asked Pittsburgh BestBuy and they said they don't know how to do it (smh). Then I took it to Auto Addictions and they said yeah it's doable. Got the appointment scheduled a week later. Then I dropped the car off in the morning and it was done in the afternoon. What I liked the most was their professionalism. They are very knowledgable people and you can tell from the way they talk. NavTool's manual was a total abyss but they somehow managed to install it perfectly (now my old car has CarPlay wooo!). Really, really down-to-details people, made sure that they did not mess things up and kept me posted during the installation. Last but not the least, they charge very reasonably! Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. You wouldn't get anything better than this.

I was looking for a place that I could take two of my older collector cars that had radio problems…read more A lot of shops did not want to deal with radios from the 60's and 80's. I found Shaun very pleasant to work with and knowledgeable on all aspects of radios. One car had an after market radio that I wanted to replace with an OEM radio. Shaun was able to figure out the original wiring and install the radio. The other car had a radio that was cutting out and diagnosed the problem and fixed the radio. Long story short- they gave me a full detailed estimate for everything- detailing all parts and labor. Once the car was in, they updated my progress throughout the day (with pics!) and they completed all the work in one (long) day. Final price was almost the exact estimate, plus a fuel cleaner, extra fluid and a small 'shop supplies' percentage. Upon driving the car out, I could feel immediate improvement and even picked up improved gas mileage (noticed on a 350 mile drive the next day- finished with just under a 1/4 tank remaining). It's literally has no more low-rpm vibration/rough idle and is smooth across the full rev range. I waited 50K to perform this service and will definitely be back every 30K from here on out. Money well spent if you love your Subaru.
