I don't write YELP reviews often, but in this case I had. My plumber recommended a local family owned business, Moore Quality Pest Control to address a roden problem we were having. Due to new construction across the street, the rodents were displaced....they moved into my home. Moore Quality Pest came out on Sunday to review our situation. He immediately identified possible entry points and provided recommendations on how to address them. Next he explained what actions he would take and explained why. In less than 12 hours...he caught the rodent. We were so relieved. Orkin charged me $350 to set 7 traps that caught nothing in 7 days. Moore Quality Pest Control charged me a fraction of the cost and I saw results in less than 24 hours. Impressive! I recommend Moore Quality Pest Control 100%. No call, no show, and not returning calls have been my experience. Very disappointed! The every other month service promised has not happened. We have contact them every two months and hope that they answer the phone and actually show up. BTW my "Chinese water bugs" are not gone. I've had the service since March I wish I would of just gone to Costco and invested the money there with pest control supplies. read more

I have been trying to call them the past two hours and left them also a message and its now 1.30 am and im tired and looking for someone who can come and spray my place. We have a rodent problem in our attic, where they chewed through some water lines and flooded attic floor and water dripping down around the rims of our inset light fixtures over our kitchen, floor and sink. Bad Urgent Problem. So, I found Moore on Yelp and decided to give them a call based on mostly good reviews. I spoke with Chris and he explained what they do and what an estimate would cost ($205!) but they could not come same day, but could come following Monday at 10:00am with another tech named Josh. Well, Monday 10:00am rolled around and no Josh with Moore Pest Control here so I waited another hour and decided to call them to see what was going on and just got there answering machine. I left a message to call me back, but no one did. I waited another 1/1 hour and called and again and again got their answering machine and asked for a callback, but now 2.5 hours later and no one has called back. I was really disappointed in this no show and no communications about my appointment. It looks like they are a 2 or so man show and very unprofessional. I found another local company on Yelp with great reviews who guaranteed to be here tomorrow and give me a free estimate. Don't bother calling these guys at Moore Pest control because they are unreliable. read more

There is nothing that I can write here that will really convey the level of proffesionalism and customer service that Chris and his team provides...but I will try. I moved into my house in Pittsburg, not realizing that RATS had moved in before me. Not mice, RATS! We had two pest controls (whom I shall not name) come out and they only set traps but never really followed up. We were then in panic mode, as I have never lived with so much as a roach...we were then referred to Chris. Chris came and assesed the situation, set traps, and took the time to explain to us how we would remedy this situation. He gave us his personal phone number to call if we had any questions or concerns- this was much more than the previous pest controls had offered...and boy did we use his number! At all times of the day and night, and he never once sounded bothered or did his customer service waver. He returned all of our calls promptly and addressed any concerns we had in more than a timely fashion. This situation took three months to fully contain and multiple trips by Chris and his team...sometimes just because he was in the area and wanted to check the traps...I can not say enough about the customer service and level of attention provided by this pest control company. There is no one out there that will give you the attention that they have. We are now rodent and pest free and it is all because Chris and his team remained diligent through out the entire process. Moore didn't complete the pest control services, but guided me on how to do it myself for now. Christopher called me the day after Memorial Day and answered all my questions on controlling Asian cockroaches. They didn't come by to spray, since I let him know that it's under control, after I sprayed the Ortho brand pest control around the perimeter of my house and my garage. I had concerns about my crawlspace, and his experience told me that it wasn't necessary to spray down there. He also recommended that I spray the baseboards. Having a puppy in the house, I'm withholding until I witness an issue. He gave me a wealth of information on the strength of chemicals and how often to spray. I'll definitely call him if the problem persists or worsens. Great business and would recommended to any of my friends. read more
