We extremely disappointed and frankly appalled by our experience with Collins Clothiers London. The…read moreentire suit ordering and alteration process was incredibly frustrating and caused an unnecessary amount of stress leading up to a very important day. The suit required the alterations to be remeasured three separate times, which was extremely concerning. We were also told that the suit was not in the store, only to find out after asking numerous questions that it actually was in the store. This lack of communication and organization is unacceptable. By the time we were finally able to pick up the suit, there was not enough time remaining before our wedding event for a final fitting, leaving us with no choice but to take it as it was. For an occasion as important as a wedding, we expected a much higher level of professionalism, attention to detail, communication, and customer service. Instead, the experience created an abundance of stress that we absolutely did not need leading up to our special day. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will not be returning to Collins and would not recommend their services to others. The level of service we received was simply unacceptable.

I was in the store with my daughters today Sunday November 26 to try on some outerwear, my daughter had to assist me by reaching for the higher level items I wanted to try on as well as look for special hook to take them down while two sales ladies at the desk which were maybe two feet away watched us. We were not greeted nor acknowledge with the exception of the young gentleman working in the men's department the entire time we were in the store. I did happen to make my purchase and left the store wondering if I should return it simply because the service was so horrific at the lack of customer service for a high end store. I doubt I will ever walk in there again. I would not recommend shopping in the woman's dept unless you want to feel invisible.

We immediately went elsewhere and got proper tuxedos fitted and rented, just in time for the wedding. After the wedding we went back to Bud Gowan's and were told that "because we took the tuxedos off of the premises, they did their part", and we were obligated to pay the full amount for the wrinkled, incomplete mess we were given. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, don't let them ruin your wedding like they almost did ours!

I have taken advantage of this great deal and have used this service number of times (dry cleaned my formal wears, blankets, downs, winter jackets, coats and etc) and have always been greatly satisfied with the service (one day turnaround time!).
