I had the wings here and they were actually a really good size and quality. The sauce I choice was alright. What boggled my mind here was the waitress that didn't really understand her job or her menu. She asked me how I would like the wings done and I noticed on menu it said "fried or grilled" and "dusted or naked" so i instinctively said "what are my options?" And she looked at me like i was dumb and rudely asked "uh...there's like a thousand different sauces". Her question wasn't what sauce, it was how i would like it done. Anyway, I picked my sauce and then pointed at the menu where it said "Add $1.98 for two sauces" and asked if I could get another sauce like it says here. She goes "no its only 1 sauce per pound" so I said "oh i know but cant i add another for 2 bucks like it says here?" And she goes "no we dont do that." Hopefully this makes you understand my 2 star review despite the wings being decent. For me, service always reigns supreme when eating out...after all isn't that what we are paying for when we choose to sit at the table of a restaurant? read more

We we're visiting my grandparents in north bay and had an idea to go here it is a really nice restaurant and has really good food it has high chairs,normal chairs,outdoor dining,etc it also has really good customer service and comforting community other then that really good service in general would definitely recommend read more

Had the nachos added chicken for extra $$ there were 5 small pieces, tried to enjoy the leaf game and the audio was 20 seconds ahead of the video. Pay for a better service moose!! Never going there again to watch a game with friends. read more

Pro: excellent menu of beers Cons: sub-par margaritas Pro: the mains arrived hot Cons: our appetiser was MIA Pro: the portion of poutine was ample Con: the wings came with no side (no carrots and/or celery) Pro: They have a patio Con: avoid the patio in July. Tried to order the advertised special for $27.79 but was told it was only available if I ordered a $20+ pitcher of beer which was not mentioned anywhere in the menu. Staff were rude and unhelpful. I really rarely leave 2 star reviews but when I looked longingly at the dominos across the street during dinner, you know it's not good. We could have gotten a few pizzas for $30 but instead we sat and spent $80 plus tip on a meal we could all barely eat. The best thing on the table was my 5 year olds burger. The bun was a brioche bun and it was delightful. Other than that the wings were overly breaded and the dressing on it tasted cheap. My Caesar salad tasted worse than one out of a pack at the grocery store. My 8 year old didn't even make a dent in his nachos. It just felt like a really disappointing meal. I suppose if you don't go out to eat often and go to places like Applebees maybe you'll be happy with your meal. We are a bit of food snobs living close to a foodie city and this place just did not deliver. Our waitress was LOVELY though! She was a gem and was great at her job. If we ever go through this little town again we will be sure to just get dominos. read more

I disagree with the review below, I've been going here for years and after being away for the past 3 years and coming back for a taste, seems like nothing has changed. Ok, maybe the price from what I can think of, but for 2 people you get a great meal and you still want to go back after to try something different. Wings are a must, Honey Garlic and plain with blue cheese are something that must be tried at least one. The Layout does feel cabinish and the people/waitress are fantastic. Good Job! The wings are back. I was here for a UFC fight not too long ago and my brother wanted to order wings. After giving him the same schpeal I wrote in my previous review I told him I didn't want to waste money on the wings there. When he got his order and gave me one of his own I found out quickly that the famous Moose wings that I remember having as a kid had certainly come back better than ever. The fact still remains that I prefer an un-battered chicken wing but even for me these battered ones are quite good. Maybe you should hit the Moose up for a night if your in town. It has become a pretty popular night-life spot in The Bay and seems to have a religious-like following. Also they renovated at some point during my Moose boycott and the place is beautiful. I go here a lot with my friends cause they like the cheap wings. Honestly if you're ordering something other than wings prepare for overpriced not very good food that- hardly exaggerating- takes 1-2 hours to receive every Wednesday. This place is famous for its wings. I like mine seasoned with sauce on the side. The hotter the better. However, the sauce selection seems endless. What ever your tastebuds crave they have it. The nachos are very good too. The place is charming, log cabin like decor, lots of TVs for the sports fan in the family. Good for watching any sporting event on game night. While staying in Stugeon Falls and on a day trip decided to tray Moose's Loose. Decor is very "woodsy" which was fitting for where we were. At the onset, were were ready to leave because waitresses kept passing by and no one came over. Finally our waitress showed up. From there it was all up hill. She was friendly, efficient and accommodating. Ordering drinks they didn't have a great selection for my wife, as example no pineapple juice for an ingredient in a mixed drink, no pineapple nothing (liquor, juice etc). She ended up ordering a canned sangria. I had a few local beers which were good. For dinner we had to start with the Classic Poutine, which was pretty good, although I would have preferred the chips to be a little crisper, but all in, had very good flavor. For dinner, wife had the Road House Roll Up which basically is a BBQ pulled pork burrito sprinkled with cajun seasoning and baked. She really enjoyed it, the pork was tender and flavorful. I had wings. They have so many flavors it was hard to choose but I settled on 2 lbs, with half hot bbq and the other hot maple ( I think). I have to say, there are so many combinations of sauce flavors ( about 50 ) you have to wonder if the actually only have about 10 in the kitchen and tell you what ever you want to hear LOL. But seriously, the wings and sauces were very good. ( just had wings at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo and few day prior and I make fried and grilled wings at home all the time). All in service was very good ( except for the very slow start/wait) and the food was very good as well. Would definitely make this a regular spot if we were local. read more

Right from the start, my time at Moose's wasn't the greatist. The staff were cold and rude to myself as well as my family. The service was slow as well as unhelpful, the staff certainly took their time. Don't be fooled by the vast array of sauces, the wings are average. However, it is certainly worth noting that the burgers offered are great, I would personally suggest the Canadian burger. Overall if you're looking for a bar to head to for game night, this is it; but, if you're looking for a place to take you family I would heartily suggest looking elsewhere. read more

Ordered takeout during pandemic and it was fantastic. The app online was simple to order with. The service was fantastic. The food was the best I have had during this crazy time. I have ordering out once a week to support local businesses. This was definitely the BEST I have had. I ordered wings, a little extra cooked with sauce on the side as well as, potato boats. It is just okay, the food was very average, deep fried everything, the wing sauce choice is overwhelming and I didn't particularly like the plastic sand bucket slapped on your table that you are supposed to throw your wing bones in... (yuck) there is no way that plastic could hold up to any type of sanitization method. It was very loud, seats are hard, chaotic atmosphere, however the servers are very friendly and knowledgeable, the service is fast, the price is a little much for the environment and food quality. Perhaps it is awesome after a ballgame or other sporting event, but perhaps it's just not my cuppa tea. read more

I had possibly the best wing sauce of my life here. Hot + honey BBQ. I almost ordered a second pound of wings!! Good selection of craft beer and friendly servers. Wings came out pretty fast, even though the place was packed. We visited on Canada Day just before the fireworks - arrived at 9, ate and still made it out before 10. The service was great and food was really good. I had Pulled Pork Wrap with a greek salad, very large portions but I'm able to take some home. The prices on some things are in my opinion too expensive. My 2 children enjoyed their food and had a good time, would be great if they offered crayons and colouring pages for them. read more

Is there any way I can rate this lower? My girlfriend and I literally thought we offended our waitress by asking her what's on tap... She wasn't too good at her job I ordered ribs and wings, both awful. The the amount of edible meat that wasn't knuckle was very little. Really overcooked and flavourless. The bones were about an inch long so if I had actually ate them I'd have to do it with a knife and fork. The wings aren't any better. They don't say anywhere that the wings are breaded so I assumed they were traditional but weren't. My girlfriend ordered a wrap and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese looked like a 4 year old microwaved noodles and sprinkled shredded cheese on it. The wrap had bones and cartilage in it. We had at least 75% of our meals on our plates when we were done. It was inedible. Honesty please don't go here. Service sucks, food sucks; if you want good food go to the Station Taphouse or Greckos. This place is garbage. read more

My first visit here wasn't great, and I doubt I'll be back. The service was alright, though nothing remarkable, and the menu seemed pretty standard- until we realized that everything had a price except the wings, which are a big feature item. We had to ask how much a pound of wings cost, and it turned out to be over $10. The pound I got tasted good, though the wings were pretty heavily breaded which the menu doesn't mention. The wings also aren't served with carrots and celery, which I generally expect with wings. Overall, it just wasn't worth the money for 7 breaded wings. read more

2 different experiences in 1 week. First one was atrocious (my beer not on tap; cold wings; replacements wings with no veggies; no salad that I ordered but charged for, and had to have removed from the bill with no server acknowledgement). Second was much better except for the wing pricing (I was charged the 1X$9.99 lb) when I ordered 3 lbs (and the price should have been slightly cheaper). I think the Moose used to have the best wings in the Bay. Once they refashioned their toppings to include every possible combination of honey, blue cheese, sweet chile, and BBQ sauce they kinda lost it, by speading themselves too thin, so to speak. Last time I was there I ordered a combo sauce, and it was not even mixed - just the blue cheese dressing in a cup, with the the other ingredient squirted on top. Says it all to me - not worth my time for poor customer service. Wait staff are pleasant enough though and a good atmosphere. read more
