We did the best we could to clean our house by hand with soap and water. We also cleaned our decks and shed, but because our house is 3 stories high, there are areas we cannot reach. The gutters were so dirty, it was an eye sore to me, but we couldn't reach them. After talking with someone about the challenges of removing lichen, he referred this company and emphasized they do a "soft wash" and not high pressure. He also raved about the great job they did on a house that had 10 times more lichen than we did. The review: Wow! Simply wow! My decks (made of PVC) are back to the original color. My house actually shines. I was giddy. I was almost in (happy) tears looking at the results. My gutters are spotless. All of the lichen is gone from the house and the shed! If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. It may cost us more money in the future to have them continue to clean the property instead of doing the work ourselves, but it's worth it! No more of us having to clean our decks, never mind attempting to clean the house or shed. They clean roofs, too! The entire process from the initial call to the cleaning was seamless and pleasant. They encourage you to remove your screens or raise them if they slide up. It was a little difficult to remove such old screens, but it was worth it! They clean the sills. In fact, he did more than we agreed to at no extra charge. It is hard to find tradesmen who do what they say they will do and WHEN they say they will do it!
