I hate shopping, but I actually have fun here. Cay is honest about what does and doesn't work, and the atmosphere is fun. Other shoppers often compliment one another on their finds and share ideas about accessories. You can also keep to yourself if that's your preference. My boyfriend even felt comfortable there. There are regular specials (follow them on Facebook) and she put out treats for the holidays. I feel part of a community there. It's a special type of place you don't find often.

My wife works in healthcare so the owner had some recommendations that really made the ring come together and not interfere with her work. Little modifications so gloves don't tear when you put them on, making sure her hair never gets caught on the ring, little things like that. Every time I came to the store front I was met with smiles, you can really tell all the employees love their jobs and want nothing but the best for their customers. At the first design meeting I was up front about my budget, and the owner was very respectful and diligent when designing the ring around my budget. It was never brought up a second time. This made the process very enjoyable and stress free as I new exactly how much everything was going to cost. The owner went out of her way to order custom cut diamonds from New York that where so beautiful she bought them knowing that type of diamond doesn't come around very often. After the fact I can come into the store front when ever is most convenient for me and they will clean my wife's ring and give it a quick once over, if there is anything less than perfect they take care of it right away! If you want to spend your hard earned money on a local, multi generational family business, that provides the highest standard of service, provides the highest standard of product, who genuinely takes care of their customers, then Tomkins is a no brainer. Nevertheless, I was being forced to take a cart, even though I knew I was looking for something small. She said is was how they kept track of the only 10 people allowed. I now believe that the manager there has been affected by brain damage because of the constant wearing of the masks causing brain damage, because of the lack of oxygen to the brain. The manager pointed out this mask wearing was for the handicapped volunteering there, which if they looked up the science, would understand that brain injured people should not be wearing the mask because they are not getting enough oxygen causing more brain damage, and I think that has happened to the 'door manager' there today. Also, if you have been vaccinated you are a carrier of Covid19 and should be in isolation from the community. The manager was acting like a communist, even following me out the door to my car when I refused to carry a cart so they can keep track of only ten people allowed in that place, such a farce. Never going back, however, I send my donations to those that are not communist.
