Cane here for neck and si joint issues. My provider was Lupe. She was diligent and sincere. The office is nice, clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful. Office experience was always good! My only constructive feedback for Lupe would be that her massages can use more power and strength. I wouldnt feel any strong pressure, and would always crave for a stronger hand. But i suppose female technicians can be limiting because of their physiology? read more

I went to MORE many years ago when they were in the Foster City Jewish Community Center and had a fantastic experience, so I decided to "try" and go again for my new new issues. I had my first appointment this morning at 8am and they were a no show...the office was locked with a note saying they'd be back by 8am. By 8:15 they were still not there and I didn't receive a call telling me they would be late, so I finally left. No one ever called to find out where I was and after trying several time to reach them by phone when I got home, I FINALLY reached someone and he couldn't care less that no one was there at my appointment time and no one there seemed to have an answer why. There are far better PT places than this that are far more professional than MORE. I do not recommend under any circumstances...extremely disappointing and now my therapy has bee set back at least a couple weeks. read more

I have been a patient here for physical therapy, and while I appreciate the great facilities, cleanliness, and the care provided by my physical therapist and aids, my experience with the receptionist has been disappointing. The beginning of this year has been tough for my family and I due to illnesses. I had to cancel a few last-minute appointments. Instead of receiving understanding or compassion, I was met with a rude attitude both over the phone and in person. The receptionist insisted on adhering strictly to company policy, demanding additional fees despite the fact that I was unwell. Mind you I have 3 kids who were also sick during the times I called. I understand the importance of notifying the clinic 24 hours in advance, but illness can be unpredictable. A little empathy would go a long way in a healthcare setting. Overall, this experience has overshadowed my positive feelings about the clinic, and I hope management can address this issue for the benefit of future patients. read more

First time I went internet/printer were down & they were more concerned with that then patients. Then mt therapist was 15 minutes late for my appointment. Rather than make up her missed time she turned me over to an inexperienced intern. VERY disappointing. On my 2nd, & last visit, the internet was down again. I was not even acknowledged getting into the office. After 20 minutes hearing about their internet problems & 5 minutes past my appointment time I walked up to the group & informed them my appointment was to start 5 minutes ago. I was told prior therapist was too busy to see me so a young man said he would see me & was just reading my notes. I told him he should have read my notes prior to my appointment. He said he would "work extra " for me. I said no you will work the full 45 minutes starting late. The new therapist was ok but then the fire alarm went off. They said to ignore the first time. Second time they said to evacuate then no don't third time they said to evacuate. As a disabled person I was the last one out. The disorganization & lack of professionalism was profound!! I did not return to say the least & now I have great PT elsewhere. read more

I am lucky to have met Zaldy (DPT) and the staff Jo, Isabelle, and others at MORE Physical Therapy for my post-op rehab for a meniscus surgery. Zaldy has deep knowledge and skills in his practice that are truly effective. His touch is healing and rejuvenating. It's beyond what can be described as a good massage. It's on another level of relief and therapy. He also takes the time. I've never felt that he was just going through the motions. With the exercises he fine-tuned regularly based on their effectiveness, my recovery was fast and deeply satisfying. All staff members were genuinely kind and attentive when demonstrating exercises or applying treatments. They're awesome. Also, the facilities were always impeccably clean and thoroughly sanitized. The cleaning never stops in this place and anything anyone touches is cleaned. During COVID it has given been me great peace of mind. There's usually easy listening music, sports, or movies playing in the background that adds to the relaxing atmosphere in the workout area. read more

The center is inside the huge JCC tucked away upstairs in a small back corner crowded with at least 7 or 8 people at any given time. There is no privacy between patients. Everyone knows your business. I agree with the other reviewer that Chris is thorough, and at least he has a one bed office for your first visit to review your history and offer some advice. I went three times and decided not to go back for two reasons: Second was the billing. Visits are billed out of San Jose and evidently people there don't have any training or experience. It's taken 4 very unpleasant calls (so far) to the San Jose office asking them to bill my PRIMARY insurance first. They've accused me of everything from not telling them I had insurance, giving them the incorrect insurance, yadda, yadda, yadda, they just don't know what they're doing, if anything. The accusations, indignant attitude and self righteousness is over the top. Almost funny if it didn't take so much of my time. They didn't tell me what was in store for me next. I'd be sitting there and all of a sudden someone would come up behind me and pull my shirt up or start pulling my pants down! Really. I had to keep asking them to tell me what the next game was before grabbing, but it didn't register. I wonder what they're like on a date?! read more

I have seeing Robert at the new location on Hillsdale. It's a clean open space with lot of sunlight. They verified my insurance before starting. The front desk is very thorough and they always remind you to make the follow up appointments early to get your preferred slot. Robert is extremely good with understanding what muscle groups to target. He recommend stretches that fit well with your lifestyle. I have a desk job and he is constantly coming up with ideas that I can practice on my desk on the staircase without any props. read more

I saw Robert Chu. He is so awesome. I have seen a ton of therapists, Drs, chiropractors... etc for my hip. He gave me helpful tools to improve my hip mobility and it's getting better. I'm happy to say I can swim/bike/run when I do my exercises. read more

I went to this physical therapy clinic for years sometimes dozens of visits a year. I just found out they no longer take CIGNA PPO. This is one of the highest paying Insurance companies for physical therapists. I highly recommend that you find another place for your physical therapy. There's no sense getting attached to one clinician when they will suddenly drop your insurance company even if it's one of the best. read more

I just finished my PT with More (inside the PJCC) and can't believe I am the first to review. I was referred by my Dr at SOAR in Redwood City for tendonitis, and while my 9 year old son had been seen prior (with a sports related injury), this was my first visit. The staff (while small) is very helpful, listened to my concerns/progress and took the time to answer my questions. Chris, in particular, is quite thorough and at every appointment each member of the team read my file BEFORE starting to work on me. I highly suggest scheduling your apts in advance since it is a small practice. read more

I've doing PT at MORE for over 6 months, mostly at the Foster City JCC location but also some visits at Burlingame depending on scheduling. Burlingame is a large dedicated facility which is nice, but the small Foster City location makes use of the JCC gym equipment and space so it's just different - both are good. The staff at both are friendly and professional. I was recovering from fairly extensive surgery and each of the therapists I worked with, Stephanie Adams, Katie White, and Kari Kariya, have all been terrific along with all the rest of the staff. They carefully review and tailor each visit specifically as needed to help and make progress. Highly recommended! read more

I treated at MORE for some back issues. Stephanie was really good. She is only there a couple days a week but she is a very listener and attentive to addressing problems. The facility is small, but it is not crowded for early morning visits. It was a bit more crowded at midday. I would go back if I have other problems in the future. read more

I have been seeing Robert for 5 months for a shoulder rehab. He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I went from excruciating pain and extremely limited mobility to almost full usage and strength. My doctor predicted a 1 year recovery after surgery but I am almost as good as new after 5 months. I cannot say I enjoyed the process but Robert managed to make me laugh through the tears. I know that I will be to y pre-surgery self. read more
